Lori they make Gluten Free burrito wrappers and Glutino makes gluten free crackers that are really good. That is how I fill in the missing bread blanks. :D

I've been eating corn chips (Utz) in place of crackers.....now my children are addicted.

I am trying to figure out how to cook a turkey....I have a 28lb one that needs to get out of my freezer to make room in case I kill another doe. We really go through a lot of ground meat. I have 24 packs of 1-2lbs each but I would like to have about 12 more.

I am loving that we have all this meat.....having to get creative about how I cook it though cause I find myself getting into a rut where we eat the same thing every week.

It's good though. What we don't eat on the turkey will get shredded and frozen in 1lb bags for tacos, enchiladas, salads, easy quick stuff that doesn't take a long time to do.

I'm gonna stuff it with lemons cut in half, onions and rosemary sprigs, tie her shut, rub a whole stick of butter on her and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Gonna roast it on top of more onions and lemon halves and make a yummy GF gravy with some mashed red potatoes (skins on), roasted beets, and maybe some butternut squash. I have leeks I have to do something with too. Oh, and a big bag of Kale so I might cook it up too.

Tonight we are going to Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens to see the lights. Every year they decorate everything and this years theme is "Fire and Ice"

Do you have a smoker? Cause that is how we cook our poultry.
We had Brandy smoked turkey last month :drool

Now, big question. Is this a commercial turkey? Or one you raised yourself. ALL turkeys, and I do mean all, unless its from Wildernss Naturals or US wellness meats, are injected at processing with a liquid that contains gluten. The package will not say it, but it will be in there.

I'm sorry :( I'm not kidding.
We have actually started raising our own, but we do have the wilderness naturals option up here. They run about $1.75 a pound.

We have three heritage turkeys in the barn now, and oh boy do they pack away the food :th
Spendy, but not as bad as buying a $200 processed turkey from a certified pasture raiser.

You might want to actually call them.
It is not listed on the turkey label cause its not a top 10 allergen. Hence the reason they do not need to add it to the label.
As you are discovering, transperency is not required
