oooooo....where do I get Maca root?

If I wasn't on my period right now hubby might have a VERY merry christmas, if you know what I mean. ;)
Just google it and choose the best price for raw organic Maca.
New Years is coming

blood test....not getting my hopes up on that one
Seeing that your iron levels were good, the blood test will likely be negative.
It is a disease that has many levels and variations for sure!
Certainly your GP will do the other test if need be?

Okay....so is everybody ready for christmas already? I'm over all the shopping and whining and crowds and general crap of it all. I'm ready to sit down to a cup of coffee and a good meal with my family and RELAX. :p

I don't get too worked up over christmas. I did do the decorating and made a tree for SO. I also have been baking cookies for the family as well as for gifts. I just don't have any money, so shopping is out. I am giving cookies, home canned goods and one or two other gifts, which I either got at Goodwill or made.
I am trying to get everyone to focus on the reason for the season ;)

This means that I want to invite some people over on christmas day, who don't really have a place to go to share christmas. SO is supposedly thinking about it.

We have never done much for Christmas. All I am doing this year is a gluten free Christmas pudding, and a moose ham.
We have a couple small gifts for one SILs children, because they could use a few things, but because most of the family is not doing gifts due to economy, we will just be sending them home with them to open later.
Growing up we always had a big dinner, but gifts and a tree were not even a part of the day untill much later.
Now in my mid 30s, I am ready to get rid of all commercial parts of that day.
For that matter, I am content with dinner and small family gifts, but Biblically I can no longer ascribe His birth to that day.
It does not fit, and it never has :idunno

Oh, and I can honestly say I have done ZERO shopping this year!
can't say the same for dh though. He went to 5 different stores yesterday, trying to track down a certain ingredient for the pudding :th
I loves him :love

Lori, I am so happy to hear how much better you are feeling already! :ya I have maca root. Haven't taken any in awhile, but now that I'm reminded of it I think I'll add it to my holiday stress busting arsenal. I'm trying not to get run down with all the busyness this week.

I'm ready to relax too. But from tomorrow on it's nothing but activity :/ I really don't want to leave the house at all - last night my chiro (he lives around the corner from me) told me he saw what was the end of a break in down the road. He saw a couple kids toss a wrapped package out of a car and drive off fast. So he stopped and picked up the package, figure out which neighbor it belonged to and turns out those kids wiped out that house :( That's the second daytime burglary I have heard of in the last 2 weeks within a mile of me. They are watching houses.

Lori, I do remember those test results :)

BB....Mecca root? Can you explain how and why it works?

As for holiday stress, I was completely done with all errands when Hubby asked me to help him out yesterday, so off shopping I went. Now today guess what? He needs more help :he
So much for my relaxing week!

Oh well, I am buying something for myself while I am out hahahahaha that'll teach him

I am very happy to hear that going GF has been so good for you!
If you want Granny to make a GF meal you need to guide her. I buy a GF four blend and use it for making rouse and gravy....you would never know the difference.

Hugs!

Well, today my friend graciously dropped off her two children (one with a sinus infection) for me to watch for a couple hours while she does a cake testing for a client. I have threatened my son if he does not lose his attitude that I will start taking presents from under the tree. I mean it.

He is cutting his last 6 yr molar and I know he doesn't feel good but dang. I was in tears this morning at 9am. I got a call from hubby and he has invited his uncle and his family for dinner Thursday at our house. Do you think you could check with me first?

At least the 23lb turkey is thawing out....now I have to go to the grocery store for milk (SERIOUSLY can't wait to get the goats) and some veggies for the meal. Gonna do sweet potatoes and probably some fresh green beans and if I can find some decent beets I may roast some. MIL is making mac and cheese and banana pudding, can't eat either so I guess I'll be making a dessert of some sort. I may get a bag of GF brownie mix and add some chocolate chips to it.

Our credit card will be paid off in full today. whew.

I made my last mortgage payment on the other house today. whew.

kids just spilled popcorn all over the floor.....maaaaannnnnn....

Lori, it really sounds like things are coming together for you. Your house has sold, your feeling better :clap, and your planning for a very stable financial future. All of your hard work is definitely paying off.

2011 is going to be a great year for your family!!! :weee

don't worry about the popcorn, just let the dog eat it. ;)
