Monday

I feel like my journal has become so repetitive....It's raining again so I made another purse this morning. Everyone that got bags or purses from me for Mother's day was very excited and liked them all. I took care of all the animals this morning and got the garden watered, then it started to rain, go figure Had to make bread this morning cause we were out. I want to clean out the worm bin but Chad is waiting to get some more pallets to make a larger one. Everything is going great, Granny took us shopping this weekend to get us some new shorts for the beach trip next month. We are going to Wilmington, NC for a week. The kids are so excited it is ridiculous! They keep asking when we are going!

I thought I would post a pic of the 2 new purses, ya'll just tell me when you get tired of seeing them!

We had an anole once when my DS was little. Boy, was that little sucker fast!. He got away from us once and two days later, DH found him while his was sitting on the toilet (DH, not the anole)

Tuesday

Did 4 loads of laundry this morning and it is on the line now. Changed all the bed linens and towels and washed the sleeping bags after DH cleaned out his trailer. He used them for hunting when the weather was cold and they were filthy! After I got all that done I mowed the back and side yards and I have to take Tyler to the dentist this evening and go to TSC for chicken feed and then to the grocery store for a few things. Just relaxing a bit before I have to get the clothes off the line. Wanted to vacuum and clean the bathrooms but I am thinking I will do that tomorrow.

Tyler keeps trying to get the top off the lizard tank and hold his anole. Killin me! It keeps holding on to the top of the cage for dear life. Poor thing.

Wednesday

Happy Day!!! It is beautiful outside and I have 4 loads of laundry on the line again, this time all the clothes. The windows are open in the house, I just got fresh bread out of the oven, and I just found out that my brother is going to come to the beach with us next month!!! My kids love their uncle and he lives in Atlanta (9 hrs away) so we only get to see him every once and a while. A whole week with him is a treat! We also found out that my parents and grandparents are going to try to come up to our house this weekend so that will be nice.

Tyler's dentist appt went well yesterday, only problem was that he was terrified to sit in the chair by himself so he sat on my lap the whole time. Went out for Mexican food afterwards and then to the grocery store. It's awful how much stuff costs. I didn't even buy any meat and the bill was over $100. Craziness, glad I didn't go shopping before we ate dinner

Monday

Just checking in. Granny, Papa and Mama came in for the weekend so busy busy busy. They were impressed with the garden and we went to the pet store Saturday to get crickets and came home with 2 new fire bellied toads and another aquarium in the living room but secretly I wanted the toads too. My son looked at my Mom and said "Now listen carefully, today we are going to go to the pet store and you are going to get me a water frog." Don't you just love 4 yr olds? Thinking about building a bigger coop....again. We'll see what happens. Sunny and beautiful today so we are going to get outside and enjoy it!

glad you had a busy but fun weekend!!!

frogs, yikes. No more aquariums for me. I had big ones and loved my fish til the work got so much. Now I just fish and eat them..HA HA HA

yea kids love critters, slimey, and the more icky the better...same with Nicole--LOL

oh the good old days of childhood...wish I was there again in a way...LOL

you got sun????? wow, we hardly have sun, still more scattered T-storms for the whole week with definite rain they say come Sat. UGH

where is the hot weather? I love it and want it...still avoiding the "full work up" on the pool cause swimming weather sure ain't here yet....and being in NC I am ticked..HA HA

AND WOW, you sure cleaned alot last week. I know how hard all that work is!!!!
