How much was it? My husband told me "we need to get an incubator, honey"......once again, who are you and what have you done with my husband??? :gig
I think it was about $100 Someone here recommended it ( I think Drakemaiden) What I liked about it was it had a fan, you could buy the egg turner separate, but even if you didn't--you just has to tip the incubator one way, then the other--no handling of eggs. I did buy the egg turner --just cuz I get preoccupied with something or another , and then OOPs-forgot to turn the eggs. I also liked that it is NOT styrofoam, and it is easy to clean, and you can see the eggs.OOH, I just checked--it is stillon sale and so is the autoturner. http://www.brinsea.com/products/octagon20eco.htm

Check out this--it tells you about it, and then click on special web offers. Only catch is the shipping. You could check to see if there is adealer near you

Wednesday

Is it Saturday yet? I can't wait to go on vacation. My brother called me last night and wants to us to go with him to a party Saturday night. Turns out one of his old friends from NC is getting married in Wilmington this weekend and he has been invited to the party after the reception. I've never been out clubbing with my brother so we'll see if I can hang!

Busy this morning, cleaned out the rabbit hutch and chicken coop, cleaned off the steps and patios to get rid of all the chicken poo, exercised the dogs and gave everyone a swim in the baby pool, cleaned the baby pool and emptied it, watered the garden, and made another purse for my BF. I made one last night for her 4 yr old daughter too.

Both my kids are ill, physically and attitude. Why do kids always get sick right before a vacation? Son has diarrhea and dd has a head cold/diarrhea/diaper rash. We let her sleep in the recliner last night but she was up at the crack of dawn this morning. Ugh. I hate chlorinated pools. They both went to a friends and swallowed a ton of pool water and it always gives them funky tummy.

Had a crazy lightning storm last night, scared the kids half to death. Found 3 eggs under the back porch steps when my dog tried to dig a hole under there and I was going to fill it back in (don't know how she didn't break any of them). We have to build some trellises for the cukes and get some built for the tomatoes as well. Hopefully the rain will hold off this evening and we can get it done tonight.

Those bags look awesome! On a side note, it scares me a bit when I can recognize a lot of the fabric you used. Like the second reversible bag, get the fabric at JoAnn's? Maybe the John Deer as well.

Thought you might like to see my little girl modeling the dress I made for her. It is John Deere fabric with pink and green trimmed with ribbon.

I also made a beach bag for myself today and another purse for my BF

Oh! How could I forget?

We have added another animal to our crazy household....and it's all my fault. Last night I caught my son a tree frog. :th I heard a thump on the front door while I was reading (Chad was on an emt run). I looked up cause the screen door is all glass and usually when I have the lights on it attracts bugs and bugs attract my cats. So, I look up to see what my cats are thumping at and lo and behold, climbing up my front glass door is a tree frog. I was so excited I grabbed my son's bug catcher and went outside and caught the little bugger! I was so excited I woke Tyler up! He said "uuuuuuuuuu" and rolled over....duh. He was super excited this morning though and I told him that he could put the frog in his extra habitat for now and of course, he wanted to hold it. So, I told him he could put it in the shower. That little bugger can jump!!! Tyler kept screaming "Mama, he's sticky!"

Just call me Bindi the Jungle girl....

Awww, that dress and your little girl are priceless! What a sweetie...who woulda known John Deer could suit a princess too! You did a wonderful job - I wish I could sew like that! I like the bags...always wanted to try one, and maybe this winter I will, right now I just don't have the time.

Lori,

you're doing a great job on those bags. I recognize the JoAnn's fat quarters, too. I bought a bunch myself when they were on sale.

Your little girl is darling and her dress suits her. She looks adorable in it.
