I took this product for three months...it totally got rid of the fibromialgia. No kidding. If you try it make sure you drink LOTS of water everyday and don't consume alcohol while taking it. If you don't see results in 60 days you will get your money back. It used to be called Paraway Pack but they changed the name of the product to ClearStart

Yea buddy color code those gifts ... but why stop there?

One year I gave each of our three kids a new brush bag and grooming equipment for their ponies... D1 had green, D2 had red, GEEK son had blue.

Then a Christmas miracle happened. I would see a red brush on the ground and be able to holler at D2 to pick up HER brush. No question about who it belonged to. No arguments about how it got there. It just got picked up. WOW.

It worked so well I bought them each a new set of towels. D1 various shades of yellow to green, D2 shades of red from pink to magenta and GEEK son had shades of blue. Then each got assigned certain blankets, and sheets... I went nuts!

When I found a wet towel draped lovingly over the TV (don't you just love kids! :th :love ) all I had to do was check the color to see who I needed to chase. My life was made so much easier. I HIGHLY recommend the method!!

I hadn't thought of that!!! Evil laugh......

Yesterday was a good day, I got up and went to the post office, the library (can I just say how much easier it is to find something when you aren't yelling at your kids in a whisper :p ), and then the bank, and finally to Salvation Army. Wednesdays are 50% off all clothing days. I got 5 dresses for Maddie for christmas and 3 dress shirts for Chad for work for $18!!! Sooooooo excited. Maddie wanted dress up clothes for christmas and I got a disney princess dress for $2 and the other 4 are dresses that are easy for her to put on by herself and too big for her so she can play with them for a while and get them on over her clothes if she wants to. I so need to go there after halloween next year and get costumes for the kids.

Then went in the woods and froze my butt off for 4 hours. I saw the same group of 4 does twice but they were all the size of small dogs. Not enough meat to fool with. Chad met up with me later and he saw 10 does but said he didn't want to fool with putting up the meat so he didn't shoot any of them even though they were pretty big :somad I wanted more jerky, dang it!

I was going to do some baking today but Chad told me to hold off (it was for another of his landowners) cause it is supposed to snow quite a bit here Saturday. We are supposed to go get the kids Saturday too so now we don't know if that's gonna happen.

On a side note, I can add something else to my veterinary repertoire. I cut my hamster's toemails today. They looked awful, poor thing. I don't know how he was walking.

I have also discovered that we have 5 hens and 5 drakes in my runner duck flock (tail feathers are finally curling up). They are okay for now but I will have to get rid of some of the drakes or we could have issues down the road. I am thinking of keeping either the chocolate male or a really pretty black one. Chad wants the white and fawn ducks to stay but they are both males and I really wanted to stick with the chocolate and black.
Do you think 2 males for 5 hens is too much?

Love that jerky! Made some today. Hope you get you another one (deer)Lori,...it is worth it just for the jerky isn't it?

Wow,..runner ducks! I love runner ducks and would love to add some to my duck flock. I have Pekins right now. I have 2 drakes and 2 hens. So far they are getting along, but I am sure come spring someone is going to get snotty. I think I read somewhere that it's 1 drake to 3 hens,...I think 2 drakes to 5 hens would be a good ratio. Don't put too much stock in my opinion though,...Im new to ducks. They are the coolest creatures, and absolutely the nastiest at times, but they are soooo cute! :love

Ask WZ,...isn't she the resident duck expert???

That should be fine. It will depend on the duck's personality too. Some drakes get along great, others will not share. When I had 2 drakes and 5 hens, there was very little scuffling and the boys were buddies. I only sold the drake and one of the hens because 7 ducks is a bit much for my little yard. I am set now with 4 hens and 1 drake, but if you have the space, 5 hens and 2 drakes is good too.

what she said...

hi WZ!

right now we have too many drakes but we'll take care of that soon enough. but here is another reason to have a 'spare' drake --- in the middle of the summer our majestic and easy going drake dropped dead.

not only were we heartbroken but the momma's still had mostly little ones they they wanted their man!

our core flock of scovies will probably be about 6 or 7 duckies and we'll keep 2 or 3 drakes just to be sure.

now go back and look at Turkey Steve's pix on the duck breasts and sausage he made.... and then you'll find the right home for those extra ones. right in the freezer!

:)

happy friday!!!

I have 9 call ducks, 2 drakes and 7 ducks. These are in their own pen, tho.

I have most of my other ducks in pairs...lol

I'm hoping to devise some way to divide my pairs off come spring. We have 1 pair Rouens, 1 pair Blue Swedes (I almost SOLD them because I thought I had two ducks, and finally one of them grew a curly tail....), I have a trio of Welsh Harlequins, and a quad of mallards....

So far, my drakes are all getting a long.

Earlier this year, I had close to 50 ducks, counting extra drakes and babies.......

I'm down to 22 ducks! :D

eta: correction, 22 ducks! I also forgot my pair of 'scovies! One black drake and a pretty blue hen!! :D

Good grief, that's a lot of ducks Aly!

I am thinking of keeping one black and one chocolate and getting rid of one black and the two white ones.

Well, we are getting ready for a big snowstorm tonight. We are supposed to get somewhere between 9-12 inches. I feel like we will be closer to the 12 inches mark. The next county over is supposed to get 12-15 so we are kind of on the borderline. My children are hunkered down at Granny's house so I'm not too worried. I'm going stir crazy without my babies, though. We were supposed to go get them tomorrow but it looks like that's not happening. Chad is going to get some charcoal for the grill just in case the power goes out and we feel the need to eat something hot or boil some water to thaw out the animal's waterers, oh, and boil water for my french press!!! Coffee......mmmmmmmm

Went to the store this morning and got milk and cat food and batteries and candles. I'm making a loaf of bread now and we have plenty of lunch meat. I'm thinking of making a pizza tonight for dinner.

Funny thing happened last night, I got some of my brother's old legos for Tyler for xmas from my mom. We opened the container and there was 2-3 inches of water in it :th We had to put all the legos in the bathtub with some bleach to get all the mildew off of them. Now, this presents a problem. How do you dry a full bathtub (no, I'm not joking, he really had that many legos THOUSANDS of them  ) of lego blocks, some of them smaller than you ever thought possible. In the dryer, of course. Wanna talk about LOUD??? This makes tennis shoes in the dryer sound like a whisper. It took us 2 hours to wash and dry all the legos and sort through them and pack up about half of them for Tyler for xmas, he'll get the other half in February for his birthday if he does well with these.

By the time we got through we just collapsed!
