Tuesday

My husband and I had a date for the first time in ages last night.

We had an appointment with our marriage counselor (we're fine, we go to vent and maintain our sanity....I highly recommend it!)

Yay kid vacation and dates! Both great aspects of parenthood.
Marriage counseling, huh? Sort of a preventive treatment? Nice :)
I bet it does help to be able to gripe about what you need to say, get it out, over & done, plus have a translator/mediator there.

DH & I used to put on boxing gloves & headgear. Spar, get wore out, work off agression. I'm faster, he's stronger, so it worked out.

Wow Lori...a house for Chistmas...and the best part...no one had to die. It is wonderful that between your granny and dh's dad you will have a home and some land to put it on....what a wonderful blessing!

:yuckyuck

Oh, Morel....you certainly have a way with words...."no one had to die"! There for a minute a thought flashed through my mind that you and hubby were having some dispute over plans for your new house! I've often heard that building or remodeling a home is a stressful time in a marriage.... :p

Sorry....having a silly streak kind of day. Everything seems highly amusing to me today...must be the chocolate! :)

That's funny, yes, no one had to die, praise Jesus!

We have had problems in the past (my depression and anxiety) and we usually go now once a month if we need it. Our counselor is wonderful. If either one of us is just too stressed to deal with things we go talk to her and it is nice to have an unbiased opinion when we have a disagreement or issue between the two of us. It has helped us alot.

I just got done with all the pictures but I'm not going to burn anything until Chad gets home and can look at all of them. Make sure I have all the ones he wanted on there cause once it's done, it's done.

I just got done with a bowl of spicy deer chili and now I am drinking some hazelnut cappuccino, not the best I have ever had but it will do. (instant, blech)

It has been wonderful looking at a year's worth of photos. I have to say that going shopping with my hubby has gotten me excited about christmas again. I was really dreading it but I think I am going to tell my family from now on that on holidays if you want to see us you will just have to come here. I'm tired of being pulled in all different directions and people's feelings getting hurt all the time over little stuff.

It has been a wonderful quiet day WITHOUT CARTOONS!!! :weee I got the new Harry Potter movie as an early xmas gift to myself so I think tonight me and hubby will pop some popcorn and snuggle on the couch and watch it.

Lori, have you tried taking VitaminD for that anxiety depression stuff? It really works well, better than any prescription I've ever tried

Really? Vitamin D. I had to take it before but I think some of what I was suffering from was post partum related. After Maddie was born things went from tolerable to "I will take the children and leave if you don't get help"

I was really bad. I tried recently to decrease my dosage by half and couldn't do it, I had to go back. I also have fibromyalgia and the cymbalta helps with some of the pain as well. I don't want to be on it forever but for now it is working and I'm not messing with it! :D

You really should get back on vitamin D....it really does help alot. I am absolutely nutty in the winter without it, trust me on that. I *used* to have fibromialgia too...have something for that if you are interested in hearing it:>)
