90 % of corn. :ep That's worse than I thought. :( I don't want to give up my nachos. :hit

Guess I'll only have them when I can get organic. I need land. So I can grow some safe corn for me. I'll need high privacy fences so it can't get polluted with GMO genes. Fans blowin by the corn to help it get pollinated.
I'll have to sneak out into the corn patch in the middle of the night to harvest some before the raccoons or the ethanol people, or the gene tinkerers or the HFCS people find it. Race it into the house to be shucked fast and stuck in the already boiling water. Freeze whatever's left when I run out of butter.
Remember to sneak a few of my ears into the shed to save some seed and stuff it in the mattress to hide it from the law. ;) Don't want to get caught growing safe corn, ya know. And hide it from my neighbors that might be tempted to make em some 'shine.

No wonder wifey don't like it. This stuff's dangerous!

Just playing Wifezilla.

Monsanto IS evil, but any and all attempts to curtail it are immediately taken to the illogical extreme and everybody starts shouting socialism!

SOme very large corporations are clearly in violation of anti-trust laws and as such, free market advocates should be advocating for their break up. But, they don't.

Well you don't solve problems like Monsanto with more regulation. Who do you think worked with the government to write the current laws? That's right... "industry professionals" aka the people who benefit most from keeping upstart companies from competing on any level.

Of course, when you call for deregulation, you end up with some half-a$$ed mucked up mess and people cry "see? deregulation doesn't work!" when there never was real deregulation in the first place.

Pretty soon all restaurants will be Taco Bell. Anyone see Demolition Man? I think Monsanto wants to control the food supply for the whole world.

What are you people talking about? Didn't you hear the commercial on National Public Radio telling us how Monsanto is creating sustainable methods of farming to save us all?

I listen to NPR a lot. Was it a special they had or a report? I've never heard an actual commercial on NPR except the give us money so we can stay on the air commercials.
