SNOW/HAIL MIX - Yikes - and I was complaining because we are having unusual cool weather today. High is suppose to be in the 60's. Yesterday was 80+.
OK, Picture me not complaining any more.

Whooo hoo! Today DH is forgiven for any and everything he has evern done to tee me off! He made all the boxes for my garden and put them in along with loads and loads of topsoil...I am ready to plant! Never could have done it without him, it looks FANTASTIC! AND he has promised me a 1/4 acre goat pasture for next year and has picked th perfect spot!

How did you get that 1/4 acre goat promise? I need instructions please.
My DH runs the other direction everytime I mention goats. Looks like I am just gonna have to bring one home and tie it up on the front porch.
Go ahead laugh - but I will do it. LOL

Do you guys think I could sneak one into the backyard without my husband or the neighbors noticing? I saw a nigi doe for sale on Craiglist for $50. She was only producing 16 ounces per day with her first kidding. Does that change with more breedings or will she only ever produce that much?

I got my first ones from the former neighbor, who handed one to me over the fence. DH saw me out the window and asked what I was doing, walking across the yard with a goat in my arms. I told him it got over the fence and I was putting it where it belonged!

He just gave me that look....

I am a terrible liar. That is why it doesn't twinge my conscience to lie to dh. He always knows, before I say even one word. And I always crack up laughing before I can get a sentence or two out!

You are too funny! I would have loved seeing that dog running scared after get the **** shocked out of it!

We had a wild pack of dogs at my parents house once and we called animal control to make sure that we could shoot them and they gave us the green light. Said if they were killing livestock then we had probable cause and let 'er rip.
