I got one of those pedometers. I tend to be a little competitive anyway so trying to beat the numbers from the day before is fun.

I actually have been using our Wii Fit lately, my dad bought it when it came out but no one used it LOL. Yesterday I started, I have a goal of 20lbs over 3 months, and I work out for 30 minutes a day, but I think next week I might go to 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. Its a combo of jogging, yoga, strength training, and balance training.

Also, I chased - I mean free lunged - Luna around the field for a few minutes.

This thread is evil and causes pain!

Rather than pull the boy off of firewood duty, I have been fixing the wood shed, with the silly thought, "it's good for me!"

2 days of hammering, ripping apart the trusses that will never be used, moving the heavy walls I built, on and off the tractor and now.... I am in PAIN!

I may have been able to fit another layer under my levis the other day, but I want to go to bed and it's like a whole 15 feet from where I am sitting!
Carry me!

Oh, guess who is supposed to split (wood splitter) and stack that wood?
Yea, I know, "it's good for me"

I took a two week break b/c my right calf muscle was giving me grief, and I was painting the kitchen and dining room and really didn't have time.

But I'm BACK! (And my kitchen looks great now!)

I took about a 3 mile hike today at one of my favorite parks by the Sound. It was a beautiful day and Mt. Ranier was out in full force. I've got to get back on track this week b/c I am going to do the 9 mile mountian hike this weekend with friends. :bun

Another 3 mile hike...tomorrow 4 I promised myself! No issues with mysterious muscle pains either today or yesterday.

Ah, big brown horse, what a simple question. What a complicated answer. I have been SSSOOOO busy outside of my property that when I get home there are SSSSOOOO many undone chores, that the chores become my exercise regimin. For instance, last night I was mowing down the 55 x 65 ft. fenced in area that will become my new "small Pen" that serves the purpose of a round pen to finish my 3 yr old gelding. I was using the night light from my barn to mow after dark--push mower, no power driven type---I'm no weakling!!
Last weekend I was fighting weeds. I put 3 coats of stain/varnish on my kitchen windows. I washed/folded/put away 5 loads of laundry. The list is....neverending!
Meanwhile, my DD went on a date and hiked 5 hours in Turkey Run, IN.

Ahh, what bliss had she helped me, instead. ...sigh...
