I don't think there was anything wrong with what you wrote. This reminds me of a conversation I had with my 6-year-old son the other day. I work for a construction company, and I was telling him about the latest project we got, which is a women's penetentiary. He asked why the girls had to go to a different jail than the boys. I told him it was because they might try to kiss or something. And he goes, "Yeah, and they might try to mate." :th

Well, he knows how babies are made because he's around a lot of animals.

I at some point should probably sit my eight year old son down and have a talk. he thinks sex is butt to butt like the dogs. Since that was the time I explained to him that the dogs were making puppies. I just havent figured out how to approach the subject.

My son started asking questions at a pretty young age, probably 7 or 8. Don't remember how our first talk started but probably was during or after a racy commercial. Just explained there is a special hug, two people who really care for each other, use of private places, etc. I've always been technical with him, using correct terminology for body parts, so I wasn't too terribly embarrassed. We talked about what the scrotum is for, etc. And, of course, how you NEVER force anything, not even kissing. That's a point I never saw in kid books discussing sex but is absolutely necessary in this day and age.

Guess I'm gonna have to change the title of this thread: not for children!

Pix of my goat babies that I'm selling. Any takers?

3570_cl-polka.jpg

Above: Polka: boy/buckling, mom is nigerian dwarf, dad is alpine/nubian, born June 6 2011, mostly white with a little brown and black, great dairy lines, would make a great herd sire (even in just another 2 months or so!) or you could wether him (castrate) for a companion to your horse, sheep or other goats. $100

Above: Dot: girl/doeling, mom is nigerian dwarf, dad is alpine/nubian, born June 6 2011, white with brown patches and a few black spots, great dairy lines, will be ready to breed for your own rich milk supply by next Spring. $150

These goaties will grow up to be small in stature. Perfect if you live in Denver ... now that they've passed the ordinance okaying mini goats for your backyard. Both have been dam-raised but I have handled them (ok, I've played with them!) daily! Love to play, nibble and have fun. Still drinking from mom (barely) but are also eating hay, oats, and anything else they test. Very sweet and loving. We're selling because we just don't have room to keep babies right now. I'll help you with any questions, and send a little raw goat's milk for them to drink.
