At least you've got electric. I need to figure that stuff out... really oughta should do the whole perimeter and then some inside pens, but heck, I'm probably the only one who would get shocked...

Well we would have to re-run it but we have the capability. I hate electric fencing, especially with kids. Heck I've shocked myself more than the animals have been shocked it seems!

I wouldn't get electric fencing put in anywhere near until DS developed a bit more sense. I lost count how many times he touched fences and the electric "strings" farmers put up for their cows here, to "see if it's on" I mean seriously, how many times does a person need to be shocked before you realise that 9/10 the answer is YES! They are on!

Thank goodness for low voltage...

LOL - that made me laugh. We had electric fence at a former house in town to keep our bad dog in, lol. One time I was watering shrubs that grew close to that fence and hit it with the stream of water from the hose - all I can say is OUCH! Can't imagine how bad that would be to be a little boy directing his own stream at a fence!

Ouch!! I have only been zapped a few times. First time was not my fault! I turned the fence off to climb in with my first two pet goats... Went to get their feed. DH noticed the fence was off and plugged it back in. I came back and went to climb in. Grabbed right a hold of the fence. He was in so much trouble! Then the next time, he had strung a temporary wire overhead to electrify a fence and I walked into it with my forehead. Twice.
