We don't have a dining room table or it would be that lol. We have this huge island with a little table set off from it, and I decided I didn't need yet another table for eating at. Because it would also be a dumping ground! I did a survey and it's about 1/3 of each of our stuff. But my stuff is mostly drying dishes so really.... I can blame DH and DD1 for this mess! Lol

I'm thinking, the woman who has the kinders breeds twice a year. I might try to get on her fall/winter kid list. For one, more time for me to get ready for her. But more importantly, no parasites!

Anyone have a secret for how to keep the kitchen island from becoming a dumping ground? Lol
Willpower? lol I dump stuff on my kitchen table too, but I need to keep part of it clear for mealtimes and I also need space there for my sewing fabrics, to mark where I need to cut pieces. I put the fish tank on it after failing to find a suitable (cheap!!) alternative and decided two days ago when I cleaned it, to move it further back, so there is less clutter space and more need-to-be-clear space. So far it's working...

DH got attacked by the little roo he needs to butcher this morning. Apparently he needs to butcher him faster, lol.

I might be waiting until next year to get my kinder doeling. I just don't see how I'm going to have the time and energy to socialize her this year. We'll see, but I'm leaning towards waiting. I'm not a very patient person lol, but I also don't want an unfriendly 100+lb goat that I have to lift into the milk stand! I'll have Lilly to milk next year, and if Patty looks ok to breed after a year off I'll have both of them the following year... yeah DH says it makes more sense, but he's too nice to tell me what to do lol.

I still want ducks this year though. I'm going to get a couple! They don't need to be socialized!

:( But, you make a good point. There will always be more goats. And, you will definitely be a little bit busy, lol!

All true, sadly. You are going to have your hands even fuller by the time the new little one arrives and with 3 of them to take care of, you're going to be busy. Join me with the ducks this year though! :)

It's cold and windy, but at least the sun is out. We just got Patty's hooves trimmed, poor Patty is having her teats beat up by her buckling. Those boys... sigh. I think he'll be 7 weeks this week (I have to go look) so he won't be doing that much longer! We have to weigh him Tuesday for his toltrazuril so I'm very curious how much he's gained. He looks huge to me.

Piglets look good. The runt is so cute and runt, lol.

I just want the snow and mud to go away. This is a long mud season...
