Any time my couch shows up, the dog takes it as an invitation to sleep on it. never in plain sight, mind you... she waits until we've gone to bed, then she gets comfy. She's quite guilt ridden when I get up in the middle of night to put wood in the stove! All it takes is a few magazines or a broom to keep her off.

Ha, my dogs live on the couch... except when they're on my bed... lol they're spoiled.

DD2 does not think sleep is necessary tonight :( I disagree. Ughhh.

Lilly sounds like an absolute gem. I'm so glad she's coming back to you :)

Hope DD2 let you get some sleep!

Some, yes, not much. It's this stinking molar she has coming in. DD1 slept through all her teething... DD2 does not. At all, lol. I am not going to amount to much today!

Looks like you can, I'll look into it, thanks :)

I got the kitchen cleaned and did some laundry, that's more than I expected to do lol! Letting the kids watch a movie. Yeah yeah screen time blah, whatever.

Gotta weigh the buckling for toltrazuril later, I'm anxious to see how much he's gained.

Going to get Lilly tonight :)

I just registered DH and myself for a workshop the state vet is giving on parasites and keeping a healthy flock (it's a sheep group putting it on but it'll be applicable to goats as well). I've never had a babysitter for DD2 so hey, let's be boring and take a day to go talk about poop as our first "date" in years lol! Then we'll wander around the sheep and wool festival and eat some good food. I need a day to feel like an adult. I'm looking forward to it, and hopefully I'll be feeling much better by then!

I had a dream I got Lilly back and she'd lost half her udder to gangrene mastitis and she had like, goat leprosy and her skin was falling off all over her body. Man... pregnancy dreams lol. It was horrible!

Went to the feed store this morning. We're having hay supply issues so I bought a square bale so DH can deal with hay after work tomorrow. $7.99 and it's maybe... 40 lbs. Ridiculous!! Their feed prices are good but man... who buys hay there?

How cool! Doesn't sound boring at all. A farmers dream day, lol. (maybe a slight exaggeration) When is it?

Holy Cow on your dream! I occasionally have a doozy like that and can't blame pregnancy lol!

I'm getting really low on hay - but I did see a couple ads on Craigslist for fresh hay the other day. We've had a couple weeks of mostly dry so some have already gotten their first cut. Hopefully it'll be a better hay year!

First cut already??? Man... that'll be June/July here. Second around Labor Day.

Workshop is in May. I wasn't sure if DH would want to go but he does!
