Those babies are sooooo cute! Man, that Vita is one big goat! When you put her next to the others you can really see it!

I planted some peppers, eggplant and maters in some pots a few days ago but I am itching to get a garden started....gotta get moved first so all my stuff is going to be a little late. Its in the 80s here all weekend!

Have a good day darlin'! Give those pip poppin' babies a great big hug for me! We're going to go visit ours in 2 weeks!

Yes, Yes, and did I say Yes? We have potatoes, cabbage, carrots, beets, kale, turnip greens, lettuce, onions, spinach, and garlic all planted and coming up. Green bean rows are ready, just not yet planted (and I think today's the day we're supposed to plant them). But, hubby bought a dump truck and he's gone for his 2nd of 3 loads of free, aged horse manure :woot. Just to be nice, I sent the man 2 doz. brown eggs.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Thanks for the cheerin' up after a somewhat stressful and looooong day! Now I'm ready to go back downstairs and be with the family. I'm making a frozen daquiri-type drink with frozen strawberries, half a lemon, stevia, and vodka, to wash down a huge bowl of buttered popcorn with enough salt on it to give me a stroke!

Thanks for the sweet pm, too, you are a darlin!

Still here! Having some fun on the 'puter, but getting thirsty! The neighbor boys are having a bonfire and having fun, so I am thinking "snacks!"

Could you post the recipe for that drink? Sounds along the lines of a strawberry daquiri. I love stevia.

I simply throw the juice of half a lemon, about 3 half-droppersful of liquid stevia, a big handful of frozen strawberries, I'm-not-telling-you-how-much-vodka, and enough water to get the blender to work. If I have juice (rare) like orange juice, I'll use that instead of water. If I have other frozen berries, I'll throw a few in...I love raspberries in this, too! Also pineapple is way good. Sometimes I freeze canned pineapple chunks just to add to these drinks. Oh, and the juice from the can works great, too.

Ooops, I got crazy there.....the base recipe is the juice of half a lemon, a big handful of frozen berries/fruit, a shot of vodka, and enough liquid to get the blender working. Add stevia to taste.

Substitutions work, get creative. We freeze red grapes, too, when they are on sale. They are often enough to sweeten the drink.
