I think you're close enough that, if you could tolerate me, I might pop over for a minute.

I sure could use a break from my life right now. A minute (or 600) at your house and your kitchen might be in order.

Wow! Sounds like you had quite an adventure in the city. LOL You handled yourself well in the "bread line", I must say. ;)

Sorry about your duckies. Always hard to lose them. :(

Yay for the quieter life!

Welcome home. So sorry to hear about the Scovies. Its hard to lose any of them, friendly or not.
Sounds like you had a real adventure out there in the big world. I know when we visit my sister in the city...Cincinatti...I find myself thinking about Dorothy, in the Wizzard of Oz...and wishing I had a pair of red shoes...theres no place like home. Coming home to the muck and mud and all the poo...sure is a good feeling hu?? Welcome home!

OFG, I don't think I could ever tire of your prose! Your tale of Babylon was both interesting and very, very amusing! You so nailed the descriptions that I felt I was right there with you and your last paragraph made me WISH that I was with you! :D

Sorry about your ducks....it's always more sad when one of your own dies in a traumatic way. :hugs

Glad you are back, BTW! :frow
