thanks everyone! we are getting the details worked out. Momma's mother is there now and i'll go out next... in july. i'm so excited!
so you know what that means..
The Big Man and i are headed down to get Finn a BB gun and a dirt bike for when he gets here. and a spoon for all the dirt they can eat.
(btw this sends the parents into fits... we think its a hoot!)

pigs are here. i hate them already.
so do the goats....
i'll get more pix up soon.. but for now the heat is GONE so i'm out. need to get caught up (actually ahead) so i can go and help my bro with the new "Early Bird" baby... tons to do.
more on those pigs.. so i went up to get them from Bourbon Red and had a great time at his place. his boys are The Best Kids Ever...and i finally got caught up with his Lovely Wife. and oh the food....
we swapped all my little ducks for one sweet micro duck...and then i got the pigs. we put them in a big dog carrier (one of those black wire ones) and they rode home in the back of the big truck, stinkin' it up all the way. the good folks at McD's (didn't get drive thru - just used their facilities) were shocked and horrified.
anyway
i roared in the gate and The Big Man threw each one over his shoulder and carried them down to Pigtopia... its in the bottom of the goat/hen yard.
the goats stood there stompin, snortin', and sneezing their malice at the pigs. me too. ahh.. but its just bacon on legs so i'll bide my time.... oh yes... there will be ham soon enough.
but the best part of the trip - i got to milk a cow! i loved it! and she loved me - casting off Bourbon Red like an old shoe as she wanted ME to walk her back to pasture. its a love match for sure.

What did Mc D's have against pigs in their drive thru? They serve them, they should be able to look at them.
