when the rain started again Mrs. Dowlrimple (hen momma) and her "Bugs" (as we are calling her 9 chicks) were still outside. so i had to shew them in... hee hee hee it was like herding bugs! they are so cute!

OK, I thought I would catch up and see what is going on instead of just being an inconsiderate pie horder. Wow. I think we had some sympathy stormin' going on at my place this morning (a small bit of lightning, thunder and some decent rain in early August!!!!!!!!!!), but nothing near as dramatic or as pond replenishing as what you got. I'm a wee bit jealous. I hope your garden enjoyed it and isn't sulking from "collateral damage" today.

We had some damage to our new house last night....lost some flashing, hubby was going to try to get it repaired before we get hit with another storm tonight.....right in the middle of VBS.

girl, it's all good......granny made FRIED PIES......got some dried apples from the local mennonite store and fried them up. NOTHING can get me down if I have fried pies

Hee hee hee . . . I say you should invite yourself over for a much deserved "day off" and wear your barnyard clothes. Tell them you just wanted to be reminded of why you waste all your time doin' nothin' out on the farm.

We have had some heavy fog here, that's as close to rain as we get. Tiny water puddles in a bucket on some mornings is a lot of "rain" for us
