Well, there should be some sales, as the back-to-school clothes should be on the shelves by now.

You can always look through your pants and jeans for a ripped or stained pair and shorten them into shorts. That is what most of my shorts are. Or if I buy discount jeans and they shrink too much, they become shorts. Still cheaper than buying shorts most of the time....how can a clothing item with so little material be as expensive as long pants? I tell you!

Can I come over for lunch? Sounds awesome! Polite kids? I'll buy a couple from you...we could use some farm labor here. Do they eat much?

You guys wanna know something funny? In South Tx the stores hide all the shorts in Aug! I had the worst time trying to find shorts in S. TX in Aug. OMG that IS the hottest month of the year in TX. (Yesterday it was 106!!!) (Sept. is the second hottest month.)

Guess I better bring that imaginary helicopter back out so we can all visit OFG. We can help her can those tomatoes and do quality control on that cheese and bread ;)

So you roll your pants up also, so they don't fall off. I think I really need to get some suspenders. I lost so much weight. And I keep loosing it too. I totally forgot to eat today. I put some leftover rice in the microwave at some point and forgot it. I did eat some peaches I found on the ground while I walking the goats under the peach trees for their evening snack. Blossom found peaches under the tree too. I noticed she is fussy about which ones she will eat. This tree had lots of blemishes on the peaches and they don't taste as nice, I guess Blossom agrees with me.

Go to Goodwill. If I need "new" work clothes, i just get them from Goodwill. I can't see spending more than $3 on something that is just going to get stained and ripped up.

I was just going to reply to Free that I think the back to school clothes hit the shelves the day after July 4! I needed new shorts in July too and it was all but impossible to find any.

:ep
