*snort* them poor folks at the ihop... dang we havent been back since!

nope not canned just freshly cut up. just peel and cut to uniform size, plop in a bowl and add your fixin's. letting it set for a few minutes allows the tapioca to work on the juices so it isnt dry. then the tapioca acts as as a thickening agent.

but

you have to be careful where you buy it. its either wildly expensive or $2 depending on what store you go to.

it feels that way here too... it's pretty glorious.

we got a pretty decent rain yesterday evening through last night. the fires look much smaller and calmer today and the smoke is about like it was early on Wednesday. maybe the end is near!
