*snort* them poor folks at the ihop... dang we havent been back since!

nope not canned just freshly cut up. just peel and cut to uniform size, plop in a bowl and add your fixin's. letting it set for a few minutes allows the tapioca to work on the juices so it isnt dry. then the tapioca acts as as a thickening agent.

but

you have to be careful where you buy it. its either wildly expensive or $2 depending on what store you go to.
What? the tapioca?

The 'poor little mousy screams' had me snickering a good while, so that was a good read too.

Wow, today is a perfect day - cool enough for long sleeves this morning when we left for market, then, coming back home and catching up on OFG's journal.

Glad the fire's slowing down Biblio. We got rain down here in the valley for just a few minutes - I grabbed my apples that were drying, then it stopped. I love fall weather. :love Oooo, and I made apple cobbler for dinner last evening - mmmmm good!

I LOVE fall but I'm not ready for it! Bring back the heat please! Yesterday it was particularly bitter and a lot of the trees here are loosing their leaves. I think it was in the 50's, not sure, I don't have a thermometer anymore.

I tilled up my garden for my "2nd spring crop" - peas, mustard and squash. It was 88* and we were celebrating how much cooler it is LOL

We have been stalking rats that are trying to take up residence in the barn. My Lab is a wonderful, loving, obedient dog - but a rat hunter he is not. The terrier mutt from the pound has dug up half the barnyard to no avail. Now, I must buy an axe. :D
