we just got back from town. our grocery bill was $33 for the week and that was with the 10 for $10 sale stuff that we stocked up on! whoot!

anyway - Gene Logsdon is a famous author who talks about the old timey way of doing things and not being held to the modern way of farming. see:

you might be more familiar with the All Flesh is Grass book. he's great and i love his sensible approach. pretty much he's one of us.

plus he lives in ohio so that basically makes us neighbors.

I love his crotchity funny way of writing. I own MANY of his books. If you don't know Gene Logsdon start out with his The Contrary Farmer books.
