My grandmother had drawers full of brand new towels/sheet sets we had given her and she had never used. I always gave her flannel nightgowns and my aunt gave me back the last one - I still have it 10 years later and I still wear it on cold nights.

I forgot! My DH has an old print type case with momentos, including his wisdom teeth in it. I confess I found that a little odd when I met him.

She died at the age of 97 after spending her life in search of the ideal pocketbook. Never found it. Now my mother and I have taken over the search.
I discovered the secret....and was disappointed to find out that it is not in the clearance section at TJMaxx. It is in the very expensive boutique shops in NYC and costs a small fortune.

It says "Coach" on the tag. :p

wow what a day!!!

i went out to find Nibbles screaming her head off - in full on heat! she was one hot tamale and actively trying to figure out how to get out of the fence and over to the neighbors buck.

a quick email to the breeder and awaaaaay we went. Nibbles screamed the whole way up there, pushed us down to get in the buck pen, and embarrassed me b/c she was such a hussy.

after a few minutes the breeder said we could probably just take her home b/c she was "done now." i coulda died from embarrassment.

but we left her up there for a couple days. just to be sure.

the due date is march 13(ish) its a sunday and i'll have the neighbor 4H kid on high alert. after that buck did THAT to Nibbles there is no way i'm putting my hands anywhere near her hoo-hoo. if you know what i mean. ugh!

so we stopped at a fancy pants nursery/greenhouse on the way home and cleaned out their clearance section. we got 2 big blueberry bushes for $10 each, some roses, and a raspberry for just about nothing. i'm thrilled.

a hot goat, new blueberries, golly what could be better? whooot! happy thursday!!!!

:)
ps the pigs loved the walnuts!

 Nibbles... You go goatgirl!

It's going to be a long winter, waiting on the babies :love

Mine are eating like pigs and getting some feisty hormone stuff going on. And now it's time to walk them for some weedy snacks. I can only do this if hubby helps because the dummies take off toward the road every time. A half acre of lush pasture and browse and they want to play on the road

i was so embarrassed... man.

here's another embarrassing goat fact. so you know Debbie is with Vita's breeder - the guy with the fancy, prize winning dairy herd? i emailed to him to check on debbie and...

...she hates him. she RUNS from him.

for heavens sakes. apparently she likes the buck there.. just not the guy.

now, this guy is the grand poobah of the goat circle... and there is Debbie acting like he's trying to grill her.

we go and get her about the 20th and i'm sure he's glad.

i gotta get my does in a row. sheesh!
