Now i know I need to get a whistle....that is a fantastic idea!

Picture this - Lori is walking down the aisle of the grocery store and just as some little old lady picks up a dozen eggs, she whistles. Eggs fly everywhere. People turn and stare - the little old lady has a heart attack.......... Lori just keeps walking, hoping to make it out of the store before the T.V. reporter arrives...

And that COULD happen! My "special whistle" was part of a song melody and was fairly easy to use without people jumping out of their skins. I did learn to check the people around me before letting a loud whistle fly however, because I sometimes got some nasty stares.

That would be fabulous! I already get stared at in the store cause I discipline my children *gasp*

so it was 43* and foggy this morning.. and wet! yikes!

i need to make sure everything i want to keep is covered today as their might actually be that killing frost in the next couple of days.

we've been getting a lot done the last couple of days - and more work work work today.

but i did want to pop in and say "hey!" to everyone


say - i thought only my mom knew about the "whistle for kids" thing - ha! i wonder if now it would be considered child abuse? ha!

here is my rant for today: for the record - people are crazy. and everyone i know is nuts. and i cant believe that WE are the normal people. thats all i can say about that.

but seriously - US?? i mean how did WE become the role models for everyone we know?? they all used to mock us and now they are running to US for advice and for US to bail them out? geez.

here is my advice since i am now a role model (SHEESH!):

1. vigorously seek God
2. stop with the shenanigans and malfeasance - thats how you got into your trouble.
3. do the right thing.

for heavens sakes i should have a talk show.

*passes out with frustration for every single person i know* (well, maybe not BR and his Lovely Wife - they seem to be doing ok too)

ps i think i need to eat less sugar. i'm feeling a little twitchy today. look out! i might need a 10 foot radius! and yes, The Big Man is going to town to get me more tequila. them pigs better not get sideways of me today.....

You can only have a talk show if it includes tending the animals and making pie. You will just have to give your advice while you multi task.

i do wish that OD would love me back... if only....

Fattie.. i mean... Nibbles is out there being sulky. here i worked so hard to dry her out to be at the breeders for a couple weeks (so they wouldnt have to milk her).. and then...well.. she was back in a couple days, bein' a slutty as she is... NOW she's acting like she's about dry. dang.

i'm cooking down a pumpkin today


and oh yes.. there will be pie.

* in today's episode of "Pull Yer Head Out - Loving Advice By OFG" we'll see our expert make a pumpkin pie, scream at the goat to 'get down from there', while on the phone with another supposed-adult telling them to 'keep their pants on and stop acting like that.'
