OFG funny you should say that. I went to Meyer's Hatchery to pick up my chicken feed.
Charlotte (who was taking care of customers) says, "who has a buck?"
I say, "Do you mean a dollar?"
Charlotte says, "no, who has a buck, a goat?"
I say, "I do."
Charlotte says, "I can smell you."

This is with a bunch of people in the store. I was a little embarrassed but I had just finished cleaning the boys pen and then just got into the truck to pick up chicken feed. I had to laugh though since she actually knew what the smell was. I told DH that now i have to shower before going to the feed store!

It is high time you started a cria photo thread here! Please??? We could all use some cuteness. Even those of us who have it out back in excess!

with her daddy - see he has his "big dog" shirt? ha! so true

i'll have more pix on my blog tomorrow but i'm exhausted from all the excitement!

the big dogs were happy to see her and i'm teaching them to 'find the pup' in case she wonders off. our old lady dog didnt care too much one way or the other... Nicholas regarded the pup with suspicion, Peep hissed at her....and Shine gave her a murderous look.

and yes... her name is Kai..and I am a nerd. for the record its the hawaiian word for sea or ocean..... so its not exclusively a LOTR's reference. but she is going to be my fighting uruk-hai ....under the white hand of the mommy. i'm a nerd. and i'm proud of it.

look out foxy brown.. you aint seen nothin' yet

my 20 year old cat is just a bag of bones.. but she's still happy so she's hanging in there.

We have an old dust bag wandering around here too. Cookie is 21. I don't think she weighs more than 3 lbs and 2 of that is fur

She seems happy, she just moves in slow motion these days
