I've stumbled over and kicked my dang cat so many times this week that he should be black and blue. But does he learn? No, just keeps on winding through around my legs as i walk. dang cat. I'm sure your dog is smarter.

Turkey delirium is setting in here A 20 pound turkey is alot of turkey. The kids already plowed through all the mashed taters so i will be making more today.

happy (cold) monday!!!!

well. we were late for church and they teased us... so it was funny...hee hee hee

and then one of the old timers caught us on the way out and gave us about a billion egg cartons and...... about 30 half gallon plastic ice cream tubs! with lids! my eyes spun around into the back of my head with glee! wow! i can use them for so many things!!!! i'm actually dancing around right now thinking about them.

we had a short visit at the MIL. and yes of course her stupid poodle bit me - he grabbed my sweatshirt - and then ran off b/4 i could smack him. then he came back around again and went for my hand....and i scolded him to BACK OFF (mean look and The Finger of Discipline) and he skulked off. of course they didnt do anything and cant understand why i'm so mean. whatever.

we ran away and had a nice afternoon here.

meanwhile our well behaved puppy is doing great! shes getting so big and is actually coming along really well. she's starting to run like a big dog. she is learning to come when we call her (she does it most of the time), to control her puppy self and not chase the ducks (too much), she sits before she gets fed or comes in the house, and hasnt had too many accidents. she's just a doll and so much fun!

yay puppies! i kinda wish she's stay little but i cant wait for her to get big and be a real bear killer. whoot!

i think we are gonna work on our dressing our creepy meats today and trying to get the house shoveled out. i've been on strike for the last couple days and need to get back into the swing of things.

oh hey lala! i'm an occasional cookie baker. the problem is that there are only two of us to if i went all out we'd both be in a sugar coma. but wow i loves me some cookies

we got some meats done today!

totally got a late start so only got 7 done but we are so excited! mostly just hens left and we got some pretty darn big roos chillin in the fridge.

Lori - we still havent been able to get 10 done in a day.. maybe if we had started earlier but we start getting tired. and silly. and then there are too many jokes and silliness.

and now we are layin' on the couch.. whew!

actually... its fixin' to be brownies.. i'm starving for them and had no lunch and an early dinner. i need some chocolate love!

I was glad to hear you finally slacked off a couple of days, last time I heard you did that, you were sicker than a skunk. sounds like this time you might have actually enjoyed yourself!

Hey girl! I'm guessing you are busy processing those pigz but i just wanted to pop in and say - it's snowing! I know you hate it. I rained on QA's day with my good cheer too But it's December 1st and snow is perfect. I'm just glad it's not raining buckets today - yesterday was a mud pit. Only the ducks were happy. you should see the mud puddle they built. and then their sad little faces this morning when they raced out to find it frozen

The only reason we were able to do 10 in a day is cause we didn't pluck any of the dang things.... I HATE plucking feathers.

I just wish I had a deer to do..... I'm putting off doing the 2 23lb turkeys in the freezer.....I dread thawing them out.
