I have a friend who loves animals so decided not to eat meat and just ate other stuff.
She got VERY ill and was directed by her doctor to go eat a steak! A vegetarian diet needs to be researched and done correctly, not just avoid meat.

Me 'So what's you plan for Christmas, have you decided?'

Me ' ok here is our plan, let me know where you want to jump in....Christmas Eve we are going to church at 3, then BIL & his wife and kids are coming over for a big sit down dinner and we will celebrate Christmas wih the boys and exchange gifts, since they will go to their fathers on Christmas day. On Christmas day, my mom, BIL ( HER son) and his wife are coming back with his daughter to spend the afternoon and we'll do a casual dinner, probably ham sammys. Sooooo, when do you want to join in?'
Her ' I don't know *long pause* it doesn't sound very family-ish'
Me 'huh?'
Her ' I don't know, it is not what we usually do'
Yeah, I usually do not make a big @ss meal on Christmas eve and invite you over
I think she is uncomfortable about church....that is the only thing that really is new this year.
I vote for the Ho Ho Ho....along with plenty of bacony-whisky-nog

Mushroom and onion is my favorite by the way - we had some from our favorite place last week - Belleria. I drool just thinking about it. I believe they use lard in the crust and put green peppers in the sauce. 'scuse me while I go find a napkin to clean up the drool...
And I caved to my MIL. Well, not so much to my MIL as God. He told me to go in no uncertain terms. So I'm going. And He will provide me the energy I need. I'm not Grinching her fun. She doesn't really deserve to be Grinched anyway
