you are all hilarious!! thats for the yucks - something i can laugh about while there.

we just got back from running errands. what a nightmare - that was TBM's yearly trip to the mall. after exactly 43 minutes he timed out and was dragging me by the hand - like an ill behaved child - out the door.

me: baby you're going toooo fast
he: its not fast enough we need to get out of here
me: but i want ice cream
he: no!
me: but there are other people here i want to SEE them
he: there are other people here and i want to KILL them
me: hoooonnnnneeeeeeyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!

but in that 43 minutes i scored some $5 tshirts and fun jammies from old navy. we looked for a "meat is murder' tshirt for the MIL's husband - we were gonna wrap it in one of those hickory farms 5 pound summer sausages. we laughed ourselves silly over that one...

and i got french fries. and now i have the accompanying french fry headache

so i'm eating more cookies because that solves everything.

and my neighbor came home early to deal with the moo-ing cow.

all is (mostly) well... and now i'm gonna go sing along with WZ's video and try to figure out exactly how many pepperonis i'd have feed them bad poodles to make 'em poop all over the floor.

;-)

thats BRILLIANT! oh Lori you are a pip! great thinking

KC - we do our merry march over there about 6pm. we were hoping we could make the xmas eve service at our little church after 'family time.' but you know how that goes - if you show up drunk they do a special alter call for you... then its never quite the same.

anyway

thanks for stopping by, Rebbetzin! come on over any time. now you know what really happens in ohio. ha!

I would be ALL about lots of treats for those poodles... in addition to the pepperoni! How about some little balls of cream cheese!

Or ... show up late. Since you stopped for dinner on the way. :D

My mom sounds like she was just like your MIL. For years she either controlled Christmas or spent her waking moments messing it up for others. She never came to a family meal without bringing something... usually a single stick of butter or maybe bag of ice! All heart that one.

Have a great time and take notes. I will prepare my wee wee pads.

You could tell her you're giving her the makings for a traditional English feast. And then, you can sing the Boar's Head carol.
