OFG....I love you!

I hate Sam's Club....we have had a business membership under my grandfather for the last 8 years and the only reason we even have it is cause she still renews it for us every year. We mostly used it for diapers but we don't hardly go there anymore since the kids can pee on their own. :p

I applaud you for getting mad....and the big man too!

We just added a new Barbie doll to the mix....Angry couple OFG and BigMan with their cart of cat food and flippable middle finger!

:clap

I won't even go into the scene I caused at the check-out line at our drug store. Hubby refused to go shopping with me for years. I reamed out the check out clerk after the line backed up while she chatted with a friend - she was still chatting when she started checking me out and I got her undivided attention in a hurry. The line behind me cheered when I got finished - and hubby hurried out hoping no one would recognize him again.

Once again OFG, you're my hero.

I avoid Walmart like the plague, I don't have enough money to spend on a membership to someplace that might save me money, and (this is about to get blunt)

crowds of fat people pushing around carts full of donuts and junk food and diet soda while their equally fat children whine and complain about not having this that or the other just really make me want to cause several embarrasing (for others, I don't believe I've ever been embarrased) scenes :D
and now I shall hide :hide

Good on you again btw! :thumbsup

I'm no fan of Wallmart and refuse to use their pharmacy. I'll go in and shop when the deals are good, but the pharmacy is VERY rude and shoddy. I caused a scene in one at one time, along with a friend of mine. We had tried to "make it" to the store before closing when I really needed a medication and it was an hour long drive! We got there five minutes before closing but they still closed the window on my HAND.

They got a piece of my mind as well as that of my friend who drove me. The manager told me to call 1 800 Wall Mart, but do you know what happens when you call? It is always busy. They never pick up the phone. this was obviously back when I could hear, but I still don't shop their pharmacy.

Loved the SAMs post. Glad to read you walked out leaving all the stuff there!

Dh got a SAMs membership one time because he bought a computer. Basic membership. I don't normally shop there, but I recall going one time to get some salt for the drive. The store is close to my kids school, and I drop them off at 8:30am.

I went to SAMs after dropping the kids off.The lady at the door checked my membership, and told me I could not shop till 11am.Only people with a business membership could shop. I had to wait a few hours to shop because I was a lowly basic member. It was a minor thing, but because of that I told dh no more SAMs club-EVER.

I got a CostCo membership to get glasses LOL. My roommate had a Sam's but he was happy to let it expire.

The Waltons do prove that most people will take lower prices at the expense of anyone, including themselves, but especially others. It's a sad lesson to see brought home. If enough people minded it, they'd go out of business.

LOL I think that every time I go to the grocery at all! Going to the grocery store always makes me think kids don't get spanked enough and that parenting skills have seriously disappeared.

I love the diet soda added in to balance out all the junk food. *giggles*

Or, almost worse, the very skinny person with a cart full of diet foods.

I bet psychologists have a lot of fun at the grocery, analyzing people by their selections.
