Oh yeah, we most definitely need OFG cam to record goose tackling, trench making and mouse shrieking adventures!! I too scream like a girl if there's a mouse anywhere near me. When I had one run across my arm in the garden shed I nearly fainted on the spot.

yeeehaaaw. Now I'm thinking about Bo and Luke Duke Anyway...No damage here other than to my sleep pattern. I was awakened at 2 am by rocks being thrown at my window - yeah, hail. Then it rained harder than I have ever seen it rain and it sounded like it was going to come through the roof. And we've got, what -a few more nights of this crap to go? I may turn into a zombie.

Yeah, that storm was awesome Momma and I had just finished watching a movie from netflix "Red" w/ Bruce Willis (Pretty good if ya get a chance) and I wanted to go out to the barn and try to get a couple of my rabbits to uh um uh, make like rabbits (do you know how hard it is to get rabbits to sc#$w when it's 39* and about to storm?) gve up on that, and headed back in at about 11-11:30 and POW lightning, thunder, WIND!!! it was ON like donkey kong, I almost had to put rocks in my boots to keep from blowing away, and I'm not a little guy Got in dried off cleaned up and in bed, just in time for our littlest princess to poke me in the ribs to tell me it's storming outside :/ So got her squared away and finally back to bed at about 12, 5:30 came awfully early this morning

LOVE the "trenching tool" I can just see OFG - "Outta my way all y'all barnyard freaks I've got trenches to dig and a basement of goodies to save !!!

Congrats Nicholas we usually just get the head and I usually find it w/ my feet getting out of bed in the morning

I had a field mouse run across my foot when I was putting the cardboard in my raised garden beds. I had laid it in the boxes to make sure I had enough and in the week it was there it had made a nice little nest under one piece. I picked it up and it ran across my foot and I screamed...scared my kids half to death....then my son asked me if we could keep it

I'll have to let you guys finish lamenting the weather.....I wanted to work in a verse on Nicholas and the cat but I'll have to hum it over in the car.....

We are fine here but the internet was out until just now. I'm so glad it is back. I'm just too used to having internet. I don't think we got it as bad as the Columbus area. But it did hit around 3am and knocked the power out for a couple seconds.

OK, I was at the livestock auction today, they had some young goat wethers and they called it a goat steer!

NE Ohio got through okay....lots and lots of rain and flooding.

I need to reprogram the weather radio to reflect only the nearby counties. Last night we were awoken every 45 minutes or so as the storms moved east and triggered storm warnings in the next county.

Love you folks in central Ohio, but if the storm ain't coming here, I'll rather read about in the news or places like this after the fact. :/
