Congrats Nicholas we usually just get the head and I usually find it w/ my feet getting out of bed in the morning

Man do I relate! We had (he lives with D1 now) a cat that only preferred mouse HAMS. The rest was left .. with guts drooling out ... for our unsuspecting feet.

and yes, FC, the darting mice give me the heebiejeebies, can you believe it? nothing else much sets me to hopping about. i dont even mind spiders.

Nicholas followed me around all day begging for kisses...i gave him a pat on the head.

PCC - my biggest fear is getting mouse parts delivered to my pillow. eewwwuueeee...

so

our basement is better so i'm thinking my truck-trencher worked.. for now. but we have even more rain coming so the success may be short lived. we're heading to town later for supplies to work on the gutters and see if we can divert more water from the down spouts.

i swear, if i ever see the former owners again and they ask me how i like the place... i'm just gonna become unglued. ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

but on the upside is not currently raining and i'm having cake for breakfast.

Yeah, wait 5 minutes and the weather will turn to a different form of precipitation So I guess we are in for more torrential rain all weekend? I'm so glad I don't live near a creek or river.

I'm beyond thrilled at our rain. Rained all night and it's still all cloudy. Come on, Colorado, pretend you aren't drought country!! woot!!

We get a lot of flash floods this time of year though. I remember one year the highway was closed constantly. I kept wondering why Colorado didn't think of drainage on the highway LOL.
