No, no, no! No walks for Kai. If you had a hysterectomy yesterday, do you think TBM would say, lets go for a long walk today?
I dunno. The day after I had my hysterectomy, the nurse came in about an hour after I had gotten up to go to the bathroom. She's all cheerful and says, "Let's try and get you up so you can use the bathroom." I just looked at her and said, "I already did that about an hour ago." I think she was a bit shocked.

Ha! SD you never met my mother. She did something similar as Deb did, and they only kept her overnight. Took her home the next day and she was trying to vacuum and do laundry  That was easily one of the hardest six week periods of my life. I was so glad when she was allowed to go back to work!

If she is around 60-80 pounds she can have 50 mg benadryl. I would guess she is in that bracket. Most people have a little of that at home and it works good esp the first dose or two.

I'm sure they weighed her yesterday.
I'm remembering 1 mg per pound of dog. 50mg for a 50 lb dog? But check with the vet. And KEEP HER QUIET!!!! Read my thread for the post neutering nightmare we are still going through because Indy wasn't as quiet as he should have been....

eduted to correct my numbers

I was a long time recovering from my hysterectomy. But I had a couple minor issues. Namely the stomach flu. LOL. So I wasn't eating after at all :p

wow what a beautiful day!

it DIDNT rain - a miracle.

Kai has pupped-down... the vet also recommended benadryl, exactly as SD said. she's ok if we are with her - she just doesnt like to be alone.

we worked on our fencing for the pigs! and we tested it out with the goats. we put Nibbles and Debbie in the new area and they went to work on the wild rose and poison ivy! we were so glad.

we are going to be working on a big yard in a new area soon - so we were glad the goats actually started grazing. even Vita go into the act - two miracles in one day!

i also had an epic burn pile.

now i really have to go and get evening chores done. i had to see the national news - i'm absolutely transfixed by the coverage of the tornado disaster. wow. some of the stories are amazing. and who doenst love an older Baptist lady with a live saving testimony! my fav (fun) story was the older woman who rode it out in her recliner.

i still couldnt care less who wore the funniest hat at the wedding - but is anyone else wondering if Kate is pregnant and thats why they hurried up and had the wedding, are not going on the honeymoon, and are hiding out in wales? hum.

Don't have a clue as to anything that went on w/the wedding other than that it happened. I turned off the radio yesterday morning cuz that's all they were talking about, and I just didn't care. :hu

OFG, does Ohio not have enough to keep you busy what with traumatizing young children in Tractor Supply and the vet's office - oh and pink ladies - er - ladies in pink sweats? Now you have to go after the new Duchess of Cambridge or somewhere over there? Psst, do you think she really is pregnant? :hide

Are we talking about the wedding/guests dresses? Check out those hats! I didn't watch any of it either, but you can't miss it - it's everywhere!
