FF - I'll have to see if they kept that silly thread going. is pollution bad? clearly. is this The End? i dont think so. and yes the climate is in flux but whether (weather?) this is a micro or a macro change is yet to be seen. the one that gets me is the proposed tax on cows b/c of the methane....um.. so if there used to be millions of heads of bison roaming the plains and THAT didnt cause 'The End"... it just doesnt make sense to me.

Me, too! they're predicting that we may get 2 ft from the gulf storm coming next week.

I'm getting out my snow blowe - ooops I mean blow dryer - I mean, if it gets hot enough to dry hair, surely it will melt snow?!

Sorry to hear that your break for the snow did not last long. I can relate, we have rain in the forecast. Drat, just when I was getting comfy in my bikini.

you'll never believe it. we went to town today - WE SAW OTHER PEOPLE! i bought coffee! and we had lunch! someone ELSE made a meal and we ate it then left the dishes right there on the table (sure all we had to do was pay them.. but oh.. it was worth it).

the snow continues. no one is happy about it.

so here is my main problem.... NORMALLY, that is when we are not in the middle on an ice age, we get a big snow and then it melts. goes away. back to the nothingness. gone baby gone.

but this winter it has basically stayed around since the last week of Dec. sure some of it melted but it has never stayed for so long. now if i lived in many-snow-ta....i'd expect this kind of ridiculousness but not here. for heavens sakes.
