Thanks for clarifying the "feed bag", I though for a minute I was going to have to use a gallon zip lock. :sick that would be a ton of veggies.

Had coffee and carrots for breakfast. Thanks for the tip dace. :barnie

Lunch was leftovers from last night. Big salad and cut up chunks of chicken and my home grown beets.

snacked on nuts and more carrots.

Dinner was pan fried kielbasa, steamed green beans and another huge salad with tons of veggies. So how much is a serving anyways? 10---- 1/2 cups????

I am lagging on the water.

ps, none of my kids or dh have noticed the lack of carbs at dinner. My 7yo asked if we could have a healthy salad for dinner. That's what we call a Cobb. Tomorrow we will probably use salmon patties. I know they probably have "stuff" in them but we need something exciting.

So I'm 2 pounds lighter this morning in spite of eating all day long yesterday. I know it's water weight - but it was making for a squishy tummy. Good things are happening!
I'll repeat saying I am so glad you guys had crazy hunger too - I did not remember anyone talking about that before.

Now if I can just get through the fish fry at hubby's folk's without undoing everything. I will have to pack my own veggies based on prior experience

Your body holds on to a lot of water weight to process carbohydrates. Without all the carbs, you lose a lot of bloat. This is one reason low carb diets are great for people with high blood pressure. Mine dropped from 149/95 to 101/62 in a couple of months.

My friends who didn't go low carb and had similar readings are now on meds.

My scale broke a while back. So I measured inches yesterday. Thinking of doing a chart like Wifey did. I think this will be better for me. So I don't obsess over the numbers.

Inches do tell the true fat loss story over a period of time. I use the scale to to check bloat. It's pretty interesting what the body does.

FYI, pickled banana peppers are yummy in frittatas/scrambled eggs. But don't add them until the end or they get chewy.

I have done OK today with eating. I had sausage and egg for breakfast - no bread - and I snacked on some hard boiled eggs a little while ago.

I have some baby carrots and cheese with us to snack on.

Yay, you girls are doing awesome and you are going to feel fantastic when your body recognizes that you have stepped off the blood sugar roller coaster. I did not even know how crappy i felt until I got off it all!

I remeber constant eating at first Java, I had considerably cut my calories, just taking out a bagel for breakfast is nearly 300 calories, not to mention the cream
cheese.... So that alone is a big
loss that your body tries to compensate
for by being hungry! My 16 yr old has been going thru it for the last few weeks since giving up gluten.... This week she seems
more settled.

Now like Henn23, I no longer snack much at all.

G- I had Keljonma's green beans last night and they were awesome!!! Serving sizes are 1 full
cup of greens, 1/2 cup cut veg cooked is a harder to gauge because it all shrinks :) I think I read that 3 cauliflower florets is a serving, but that does not seem like much!

Last nights dinner was roasted chicken, a big pile of green beans and a smaller pile of cuke salad
