TWINS!!! My other goat, Amber had TWINS this evening!! A boy and a girl! I thought her due date was August 6th. So far the babies seem to be very strong and they do not seem to be as premature as the other set. They are red with like black highlights at the tips of their hair. It was to dark to try to get pictures tonight so I will try to get pictures in the morning. I left them out in the goat house with their mom is a stall. I saw the little buckling TRY to nurse once. Amber gets very agitated when I try to get them to nurse and she kicks me and kicks the babies and steps on them to try to get away from me. But when the little guy tried to nurse on his own she did not even flinch so I am going to try and just leave them alone and keep an eye on them.
