Awww, so cute! Isn't it amazing that all those long legs were folded up inside mama just a few hours ago? Are you keeping any? I forget....can't keep track!

We are keeping the doeling. I would like to have 6 milking does. I wish we could keep them all! The boys would make great cart goats! And my 9 yo wants a pony and cart BAD! But we just do not have enough room on our little piece of property. I would love to keep Amber's little buckling to breed with Pinkie but I do not want to take a chance of him breeding Amber or Lily. And goats and fences...well...

We lost the little doeling today. :hit She was fine this morning and then we left to go to our church picnic and we came back and she had passed away. We were only gone for 4 hours. There is no obvious reason for it. She was eating good and everything. She was a little wobbly legged last night so we gave her some selenium. But she looked really good this morning.
I must say this just sucks!!! :hit
Both of the little bucklings that are left...one from Lily, one from Amber... are doing great.

Ok, a word of caution for parents to pass on to their kids! (Mostly 'cause I am cracking up and I have to share with someone! ) And that if your kids post stuff on FB other ADULTS could see it!!
The last few days on FB have been DRAMA with the teens from my church!
ZA: "I am sitting outside of c*nd*mnation waiting for AE and TA who are inside."
When I went to type "Oh my!" on the post it said it had been deleted. Now his post reads:
ZA: "Had a fun day gun shopping with AE and TA!"
So I had to post back "So, is that the story now?" ZA responded: : "What?lol"
AE is from a very respected family in our church. I am guessing the only reason NA was outside waiting for the other two was because he is under 18 and NOT allowed in the store.

Earlier in the week another girl from church who WAS dating ZA's younger brother THAT day posted "What would you do if you found out a guy was dating you just to get in your pants?" It implied that he was only with her to make out. She is only 12 or 13 years old!! This boy was AT LEAST her 3rd boyfriend in as many months! (I didn't find this one funny..or MANY of her other posts.)

My boys have now been advised to avoid this girl like the plague!

So please caution your children about what they write on FB!
