Oh Pam I saw the latest pics on your blog. That baby girl is just more adorable every day. Your boys will be such great big brothers. I have eight older brothers and trust me they come in handy now and again. You DS at 13 is very tall. We have a tall family as well but he looks huge. What have you been feeding that boy? Whatever it is keep up the great work. I am glad to hear your BP is good.

Have a great day, gina

I am beginning to think that my 13 yo is sneaking into the garage at night and dipping his fingers in the Miracle Grow and then licking them!!!
(I am only joking!)
You have 8 older brothers??? Do you have any sisters??

Too bad none of your JBG hens are going broody! :)
Honestly I have no idea if they are!! The boys do 99% of the care of the chickens and I am sure they just grab out any eggs right out from under the chickens and shoe them out of the nesting boxes whenever they go out there to collect eggs. Once it is warmer and I have the rabbit hutch set up in the pen it will be easier to put a broody hen in it because it has 6 sections that are very easy to see into.

Miracle Grow, that's funny. Yes actually I am the 12th out of 13 kids. The last few of us were spaced out a bit. My little sister is 6 years younger than I am. It was really like three generations of kids. And yes they are all from the same mom and dad. My father actually has 4 more boys from his first marriage. So he has 17 kids. busy man. :D

Yes to answer your question, 5 girls and 8 boys.

yeah, having that many siblings had good and bad points. We were fairly poor and my mother had a really hard time after my dad left. They were divorced when I was 7. I have however met many large family success stories. I like to watch that family on TV with the 18 kids. I forget their name. They really seem to have their stuff together. Goes to show it can be done. Where there is a will there's a way!!!

The Duggar's are the family with 18 children. We love watching that show!! I watched the show last night where they went on the missions trip and it was wonderful to see how much it effected the kids. Jim Bob took a lot of his kids on the missions trip to...life changing I am sure!! My 4, 6, and 9 yo would love to have more kiddos in the family. 11 yo doesn't really have an opinion. 13 yo was not entirely thrilled when I told them I was pregnant with baby girl....but it is funny that 11 yo and 13 yo are the ones that just love holding her the most! 13 yo will walk by and see the baby in her bassinet and will just grab her out and hold her without even asking me if he can take her out!! As you can see it is 13 yo that is sitting there in the pic on my blog coloring with 4 yo while holding the baby!! LOL!! All of my kiddos really get along super well! (Well, unless you count 6 yo hitting 9 yo on Sunday during church and then 9 yo hitting him back...but of course the children's pastor only saw 9 yo hit 6 yo and did not see 6 yo hit him first...so 9 yo got kicked out of church and sent to his Dad!! LOL!! Does it make me a bad mom if I disciplined 9 yo for getting in trouble at church and disciplined 6 yo for getting him in trouble at church and not for actually hitting each other?? LOL!!! (No, hitting is not allowed in our house.))
