A friend from church told me about it. We do not have a Costco around here but the shipping is included so that seems like a pretty good deal.

We have Cost co as much as Wal Mart around here. They do cary a lot of stuff on line that never makes it to the store. I find that if you pick and choose you can get some good deals but most stuff is over priced.

So I am cleaning my house today so I can sit and sew ALL weekend. My mothers gift to myself. I have several projects in mind. I hope I can get them done. :D

I hope you have a Happy Mothers Day!!!!!

Thanks, I hope you have a great Mother's day too!

I did up 5 pounds of potatoes to put in the dehydrator. I filled up the dehydrator and it did not even put a dent in the amount of potatoes I cut up! I am thinking I need a refridgerator that is converted into a dehydrator if I am going to be doing very many potatoes! LOL!

I should do some sewing tomorrow while DH and the boys are at the church tomorrow but I sure I will be holding the baby all day then.
DH and the 4 boys have the men's breakfast in the morning then they are helping with an oil change ministry and car wash the men are doing. That lasts until 1pm and softball practice is at 2pm.

Hi Pam, long time no talk to. DH and I will be up your way around the 15th. He has a Dr. appointment in Boardman again. :/

You will have to let me know what time. Maybe we can meet up!

I now have 3 quarts of potatoes done. The last little bit...which will probably be about a half of a quart...is in the dehydrator now. They should be done before I head off to softball practice.

I asked my mom if I could borrow her mandolin slicer to cut up my other bag of potatoes so I could have a more uniform slice. The food processor gave me a lot of little pieces.

It is kind of a hazy day today. I am hoping the rain holds off 'til the car wash and oil change ministry at the church and after softball practice are over.

I just got sent this email:

This is for all you happy campers and back yard BBQ people. Have a great summer free of the little pests !!!

Mosquito Spray....Worth a try
I was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone. A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared. The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes. And voila! That worked as well. It worked at a picnic where we sprayed the area around the food table, the children's swing area, and the standing water nearby. During the summer, I don't leave home without it......Pass it on.

COMMENTS: I tried this on my deck and around all of my doors. It works - in fact, it killed them instantly. I bought my bottle from Target and it cost me $1.89. It really doesn't take much, and it is a big bottle, too; so it is not as expensive to use as the can of Bug-spray you buy that doesn't last 30 minutes. So, try this, please. It will last a couple of days. Don't spray directly on a wood door (like your front door), but spray around the frame. Spray around the window frames, and even inside the dog house.

Wow, that is a cool idea, thanks for sharing!

I hope you have a great Mother's Day! :)
