Happy Mother's Day!!

Tuesday is DH's birthday so we are having his party today. I just made a veggie tray, macoroni salad, baked beans, and the chocolate cake is in the oven. I made some dip yesterday for the veggies and it came out spicier than I thought!

I got DD's quilted jacket done yesterday! It came out cute! (Of course no pictures yet.)
I took the kiddos to a Cleveland Indians game yesterday. We had a good time. This was a school sponsored field trip so we ended up with seats that were 5 stories up in the air!! It was very disorienting and nerve wracking being up that high in the stadium! The players looked like ants!

I have found some great educational videos on youtube for DD...including the whole first video to the your baby can read program. I was able to find a program that converts it into a regular video onto my computer and I have been trying to burn it onto a DVD and I can not seem to figure out the nero program I have on my computer that has the cd burner.
I am hoping to get onto the treadmill this evening. DH is taking all of the boys to TKD and 4 yo DD is at my MIL's for the night. So, if I can get the baby to nap I can exercise. If not I may have to put her in the sling and just walk up and down my road with her.

Walking sounds nice to me. But then, I haven't been able to get out and exercise for a while now. Have fun, whatever you do. :D

You know you shouldn't tell us about your sewing projects without posting pictures! :)

I know...I know...but DD is not at home so I can not even take a picture of her in it.

The jacket looks great, PP!

One year in the early 80's we won tickets for a Cleveland Indians vs Toronto Blue Jays game in Toronto. We sat in the last row up - any higher and we could have swung from the mechanism that opened the dome roof on the Skydome. Needless to say, I did not move much... :sick

LOL! My mom said she was closing her eyes and pretending she was on the ground. I told her she could open her eyes and pretend she was flying!! We were about 20 seat rows from the top. I didn't move much either! I felt like if I dropped the babies pacifier that it would fall and just keep going down and down and down vs just hitting the cement floor we were standing on!

Man, you have got the best dressed family I know of. :) Very nicely done, Pam.

My mother used to sew. I was fine with that until I got to that age where you want to look like all of your peers, if you know what I mean.

Sewing is a lot of work, but I'm sure it is very rewarding as well. :)
