Pinky if you don't care for the gamey taste just presoak in saltwater overnight then cook it. If you like beef, you should like venison too :hu It's easy to cook, and I just use it in place of beef. The biggest difference is there is very little fat. Ground deer is more like ground chuck than straight ground beef. So adding a bit of fat to deer, bacon grease is my fave, will help with the cooking and flavor of any cut.

lol, the sad part is often that IS the symptom of pregnancy in cats...

pegnant cats often become unusually friendly...if the cat is already sweet and loving itll usually be even more so...even feral females tend to get lovey dovery

the hair on the tummy aorund the nipples tends to thin...the nipples will usually get larger and often darker pink in color

sometimes you can feel the kittens (theyll feel like walnut sized lumps)

overall shape. from the side her tummy mak lok a bit distended and her back may sway down slightly (kinda like a horses after its been ridden for a few years)
from above her tummy will be slightly distended, they tend not to get all that large untill realy close to delivery.

and they tend to eat more.

ive known many a cat though who gets to days before delivery before showing any signs so it can be hard.

Pinky I swear I think mine is. In the 3 weeks we have had her, she has developed a beer belly. Its big. She is a bottomless pit, eats every thing. Even caught her in the sink digging through scraps. Mind you she gets two cans of food and free choice dry. I checked her underbelly, they are not swollen or really noticeable but a moment ago I noticed pinkness on the lower part of her underbelly. And she flirts with your legs alot and meows constantly. She has been going to a few hidden, darker places lately too. I think she is......I hope she is. We had planned on getting a few more........
