got up this morning, the suns shining and thres a big ice patch in what pretends to be my driveway...whats the deal with that sunshine?! get your but moving and warm this place up.
came in fed the dogs and had my own breakfast...now im all out of oatmeal again *sad face*

todays plan goes something like this:
get lazy butt moving, put on clothes then go feed the bunnies...
given i dont know if Rowan is or isnt pregnant at this point (bred before i brought her home) and shes currently insisting on using inside her bunny house as a litterbox im going to clean out her cage completly...if she is pregnant she could be due to deliver any day...i dont think she is, but id rather be prepared.

then im goingto come inside and get some more paint on the trim, and the doors i alreadystarted...im hoping 1 more coat on the outside of the bathroom door, 1 more coat on the trim in the bathroom and 1 more coat on the closet door in the guest bed should doo that...the back of the bathroom door will need at least 2 more coats...this blue color is a pita to cover...then i might try and get a coat on ALL the trim in the guest bedroom.
i MIGHT then start on the green paint for the kitchen/hallway...MIGHT it depends on how long that guest bedroom trim takes.

then lunch...

after lunch im hopingthe sun has gotten high enough to help us reach the 50's and i can get outside fix the veggie beds that have popped open.
haul the 300lbs of compost out of my car and round to the veggie area while im at it too...once thats out of the car i might go buy a bale of peat from lowes so i can fill at least fill some of the beds and feel like im making some progress lol.
walmart has their lettuce starts out already...still a little too early for me (especially given last nights freeze) but i would like to be at least semi prepared.

its supposed ot be 57 today, and there saying mid 70's at the end of the week, what the?! hey no complaints from me...
Duckies are supposed to ship out tomorrow and should be here Thursday...*excited* which means if WBF has nothing going on thursday afternoon we'll be having a play date (gotta see what time the other person who whent in on the order can get over here once the duckies arrive as i told her they have to be picked up that day...

so yeah...stuff to do :)

well i kinda reverese ordered things acidentally in true ADD style...
whent out to feed the bunnies, decided their litterboxes needed doing so did that too, then decided i didnt like the placment of the veggie beds so moved those and rescrewed everything back together so there not falling apart anymore...
unloaded the bags of compost and dumped them into the 2 smaller beds, i think im going to do more compost mix than i was origioanlly planning so 1 big block of peat between the 4 beds and an extra couple of bags of the compost/manure mix for each bed...the compost was suprisingly fluffy wiht alot of hummus mixed in (shreddrd leaf ect) so i dont think i need as much peet as i was origionally planning whihc is good because its the more expesive part of the mix.
im going to go back out there in a little while and play with the last bits of scrap wood and see what i can come up with for the strawberry be but the dogs were getting antsy so i decided to take a break...
it is starting to warm up out there and its lovely if your out of the breeze :D
so yeah chilling, then lunch, then work on the last bed, then in and mabe get some more painting done...we'll see on that last part lol.

well aparently today was ADHD day for me...

my list for today was:
spend the morning painting trim...
spend the afternoon fixing the veggie beds...

however todays actual list whent like this...
go out to feed the rabbits get sidetracked and clean all the litterboxes too...
then let the dogs otu to pee...decided it was nice enough and unloaded the compost...which led to i need to fix the beds...so that became this mornings job...
then lunch...
so i figured hey ill go otu and do the last bed...but got side trcked because i didnt feel like breking out the tool kit and such....so i came back in with the goal of painting trim...
opend the wrong can of paint which led to "hey ill just paint this one wall

somehow, 1 wall became the entire kitchen...yup, the kitchen is painted! LOL!
pictures will come once its dried and not 6 different shades of green form the wet spots lol...
i love it though...
and the 1/2 gallon id set aside from the livingroom did the entire kitchen plus a little left over for nessicary touchups.

i couldnt get the fridge out so theres a bare spot back behind "the beast" (which im not worried about since when it comes down to time to redo the kitchen that entire wall will end up with a backsplash and cbainates anyway so itll gt covered...)
and i couldnt get the stove out so theres a patch on that wall that will eventually need filling in.

because of how far a gallon of this paint goes ive decided that im going to try and find a blue that will work in both the guest bedroom AND the bathroom so thats 1 less gallon of paint on the list YAY.

so yeah. tomorrow is supposed to be comfortable but partly cloudy so ill probably try and get that last raised bed done tomorrow and get whatevers left set aside to possibly use for other things or chop later and burn.
and i want to finnish the inside and outside of the bathroom door and the bathroom trim tomorrow too so the hallway can be considered done.

im getting there lol.

I forget - what kind of paint did you use? I remember it was from Lowe's. The mid-range ($) I bought from there covered OK. Better than cheap, but not as good as I'd liked. My painter-for-living friend nags me about primer, so I don't waste paint ( which may have helped you only need one coat on the trim/doors ;) ) but I want a color change and I want it NOW! So, I think my next paint job (eventually I will repaint every wall in this place) I will use the paint w/ primer Lowe's carrys, despite the cost.

The best laid plans... ;) I'm partial to Behr paint and primer in one. Can't remember what they call it exactly... When we painted the exterior of the house, I really regretted not spending the extra $ for that paint. But now I'm glad we didn't cuz we're changing the color anyway! :p
