lol, me too...

sometimes cute is all the use something needs i guess
i do one day dream of adding an english or velveteen lop as a house bunny too...i LOVE the lops, the only think better than a rex or a lop...is a rex lop! lol
toay was a little unplanned. got a note form someone on w.tn poultry swap they were processing 10 chickens and wondered if id like the necks wing tips and feet for the dogs, so i whent to pick them up ended up waiting till they finnished and came home with 2 fresh processed chickens for the freezer too. though had to sort through the offal for the necks wing tips and feet (eww) as shed just tossed everything in 1 big bag, but still. theres enough for the odd treat, and the 2 chickens for the freezer more than made up for the cost of gas NOM. planning on rotiserying one while the parents are here
came home, got the hinge sorted for the 4th rabbit hutch and blackberries attempts at remodeling patched up.
tomorrow is clean cages/litterbox day so ill move everyone around then (it also makes cleaning easier as i can put 1 bun in the newly hinged cage, clean that cage out move the next into that cage, clean the next out, ect.)
its supposed to rain tomorrow though so we'll see that happens there lol.
then tuesday the temps are supposed to drop a little so painting the duck house can happen later next week
i dont think im going to get the painting indoors done before mum and dad come out...oh well.
but i am hoping to get the floor and backsplash supplies...we'll see what happens there, ive got 2 1/2 weeks to figure that out. i know im not going to get it done before they come though which is fine as i dont think id be able to move the fridge alone anyway.
still havent found anyone with a bulldozer/plow/big truck and chain with time to come to finger and rip that shed out, will admit, that job kinda scares me. once its down though i can get back to working on removing and salvaging any wood possible. i also now know theres a recycling plant in town (about 5 mins from my house) dont know what they pay for metal or how it works...thinking ill stop up there next week and see what the deal is but its close enough that i could take multiple small loads as i can get to it/pull it out.
and yeah.
its hot, currnlty 90 degrees with a feels like of 93...rabbits wernt happy BUT they survived with no additional cooling (i wasnt expecting to be out almost 4 hours this afternoon)
that area is in the shade for the hottest parts of the day anyway so im hoping it helps but i do need to stay ontop of frozen water bottles when the temps get about 85.
and on that note...rowans himi babbits will all need baths before going to thier new homes LOL. they are so dirty from climbing all over eachother ect. lol.
