tis the season i think.
do have someone talking about comming out this evening that wants one of the black otter babies, and finally got a responce from someone who emailed me about 2 weeks back looking for "a couple or rabbits" they might be comming this weekend.
got an email back from the people i was ranting about the other day. theyve agreed to pay the current sking price $15 a bunny (they initially wanted 3 bunnies for $15 total) but cant come untill the 25th, so i told them no guarentees but have locked in the price. if i still have the 3 females they want on the 25th they can have them at $15 each (its $10 lower than my usual asking price for rex, but given the lack of bites on thislitter ive lowered em to $15 each to get them sold as there growing...fast lol) so im hoping thats at least 5-6 of the 8 that can be considered "sold" before the end of the month. which should put me straight with the bank and allow for a little gas money.
*fingers crossed*

other than that...
i need to pee...but kitty gravity is in effect...got Mia and Sookie fast asleep in my lap and dont want to disturb them lol

and Dozer and ruby are driving me crazy...
Ruby is in heat (not standing yet, but shell be accepting male advances VERY soon) and Dozer is 7 months old and hormones racing...they dont seem to understand that i have no desire ot raise a littler of giant half nekkid dogs.
I know shes not prime yet because Jasper has aboslutly no realy interest, and once shes ready hell be driving me absolutly batty too...but still...For a big dog, dozer has such a squeeky high pitched cry lol.

this is verylikley going to be rubies last litter, i want to keep a hairless female back and then everyone (feline/k9) in the house whos not already spay/neutered is getting spay/neutered lol.
I figure with everything thats going to be going on around here im just not going to have the time to properly raise and socilize and market puppies, theres just not enough interest locally for cresties and im not interested in getting into shipping and such.
Thats and about 3 eeks of Dozer squeeking is going to drive me round the bend so...lol

its not like im not going to have plenty of baby animals around here over the years to keep my busy.

Buddy has the falsetto voice too! Sounds like a squeek toy!

He had another big seizure last night but since they are a month and a half apart at least to just monitor him.

oh snap im sorry about buddy, i wish i could offer more help or advice. its so frustrating when there seems to be no cause/trigger.

in other news, realy random mini storm/rain shower thing just showed up...
supposed to have someone comming to pick out a bunny at any time now, but havent had an email back confirming and obviously person isnt here so...
got another interest email but i dunno how legitimate is was, very short "i want a rabbit can i come tonight" email, so i responed, lets see what happens there...

otherwise, been a lazy day of doing not much.
listening to the rain pitter patter is kind of soothing though :) just hope it stops if the bunny person shows up lol, no desire to go standing in the rain and no real desire ot hve strangers IN my house.

so no show no email on the girl that was hoping to come tonight, hopefully shell come tomorrow instead, same with another email asking if they could come tonight, no responce to that one at all...

made chicken in mushroom sauce with rice, ate a few bites too many and now im suffering, my own fault, i knew i should hve stopped, but it was yummy and now it feels like i swallowed a baseball.
if the yickies pass ive made spiced pear and strawberry "pies" for desert
canned pears sliced and sliced strawberries, toss in some form of sweetner (i used splenda and a little brown sugar) and some cinnamon or nutmeg.
Spoon onto 1/2 of an 8" flor tortilla, then use a little milk to wet the rim and fold the tortilla closed pressing it so it "glues" poke a couple fo vent holes, brush with milk and if you want dust with sugar
Bake at 350 for about 10-15 mins nd tada.
Im not baking mine untill im ready to eat one,
1 can of pears and about 1/2 a cup of strwberries made 5 pies (would make 4 if you make em realy full :)

and i caved and put the AC on, its 80 degrees right now and feeling a little sticky so ac is on, will let it cool the house some then leave it running with the bedroom door closed untill bedtime, should be cool enough to be comfortble for the night that way :)

i cant see why you couldnt make them with corn, probbly would wnt to warm them up to soften them before filling and folding soe they dont crack open

well aparently May is die bunny die month. Pip my little fuzzy lop boy seems to have come through on the otherside of what was ailing him, hes ctive eating nd drinking well pooping normally again...
but this morning Ash the little black hollnd lop whos sister passed a few days ago is now acting lethargic...with her though i can FEEL he belly is slightly bloted and i cn feel lots of poop pellets in there all lines up i felt around to see if i could find a blockage and couldnt feel nything odd, so i dosed her with some mineral oil gve her a crock of wter under her bottle to try and encorge fluid intake and massaged her tummy alittle
i did give her 2 small spinach leaves yesterday, (they shoudl be around 6 weeks old now so i figured i could start introducing greens) and now im wondering if it was just too much for her little system to handle?! GAH!
she was FINE yesterday, i saw her eat, i saw her drink (and the water level had gone down so the bottle is working for her) she loved the spinach and was very active yesterday...this morning shes got a doughy belly full of bunny berries and NO energy or anyreal responce to touching her ect, no struggle, no recognition.
im hoping the mineral oil will help everything pass quick enough that she will recover, but given her condition this morning, im holding out no real hope.
im REALY frustrated and if the guys there when we go again im going to let him know about it...nothing hell do obviously, itll of course be my fault...but still, properly weaned healthy babbits dont just get all backed up, properly weaned healthy rabbits dont go from being fine one day and dead the next, and properly weaned healthy rabbits dont get sick after 2 small spinach leaves.

im not getting babies ever again. ill buy young adults from small scale breeders, but no more babies...done.

emailed the girl who wanted to come last night but never contacted me, hoping shell decide to come up today and take a baby...
emailed back the other "i want one can i come tonight" followed by o responce to see if they want to come up today (if no answer il assume they were spam fishing)
waiting on an email from another person who wants "a couple" of rabbits, hopefully theyll come out this weekend and take at least 2
need to try and sell rowan, her housekeeping leaves lots to be desired so she needs to go, i think her hutch is the reason im dealing with so many damned flies right now.

i love my buns, but this month has been bunny hell month and im starting if its even worth it

thanks for the hugs, im just having a "why bother" kind of week i think, i had such sucess selling bluebells litter i expected to have no issues with this one,
Still no email from the person who was "just sooo excited" yesterday, nothing form the people who "want a couple of rabbits" but not sure of thier work schedual, nd nothign from the "can i come tonight" folks either.
:he

i just dont know what im going to do at this point, im supposed to go to adamsville on thursday but i cant get there unless im walking, id take the buns to the flea market tomorrow but agin if i dont sell em then im out the gas money and the set up fee and pretty much royally over the barrel them...
Im not going to make my end of the month bills unless i sell these bunnies thanks to some unexpected expensies to the tune of $65 this month...thanks garbage and unexpected vehicular expenses...
:barnie :hit

ok whining over...
i need to go give the ducks and geese water and check on the buns, its hot out today and i may need to ice em.
ive been putting it off for the past 20 mins cause ive got a feeling little ash is not going to be with us when i go out there and thats just going to make my day perfect :rant
I should probably pull the hay bale out of the trunk of my car too before it gets too hot in there and spontaneously combusts...
then again that could solve some issues LOL.

anyone know of a good black market surgeon wholl give me deacent money for kidney?! or part of my liver and NOT leave me bleeding to death in bathtub full of ice?...i dont drink so its not like i need 2 kineys and a FULL liver...and im all for sharing.
not quite desperate enough for the name of a good street corner, but if things dont get rolling soon...not realy, i dont have neer enough confidence or stupiditiy for "THAT" kind of work...
