the catfish was insanely delicious and my new favorite fish (it used to be tilapia) dad wraped them in foil and put them on the charcoal grill then finnished them off directly on the grill for a few mins and omg YUM.
both me and dad are light eaters, so if youve got any of that catfish left that would definalty go over well with him grilled or steamed. (we dont do much in terms sof fried foods to to the surgery lol) generally though were pretty easy going in term of food choices (and cheap dates in terms of how much we eat lol) mum loves salad of any kind too, from greens to potato, the likes of baked beans tend to go over well, as do any veggies in any of their verieties...lol
but definatly on the "lighter" side in terms of grease and quantiy, no need to fed an army :p
ill deifnatly bring some drinkage along, bottled water and generic soda to replace whatever we drink...mums usually a hot tea drinker, but wil stick to water under most circumstances, dads water or unsweetend ice tea as a choice latley and well you know me lol as long as its cold ill sip on anything.
thinking mabe aim for an early dinner type set up, get to yours around 3:30 ish?

Hey pinky, ask him what kind, if any, spice did he put on those fish on the grill. I have never grilled fish :p I'd kinda like to try that myself. DH will think it blasphemous to not toss them in a fryer

the way he had us do it was salt pepper and a little lemon and lime juice and a knob of butter, wrap up in foil and let sit on the grill, ill find out how long, then out of the foil and just seared on both sides to finnish it off.
If you like spicey id definatly think some cajun and red pepper flakes would be nice too :D
