ll def mention it...and id agree on this house, the original property was bought for 2 million with 200 acres attatched, he must have sold off some parcels of land, but overall its a 43 1/2 acre property with the house left and its being eaten by the woodland it was carved from pretty quickly.
but man it could be grand with ALOT of tlc, a couple of dumpsers (probably 3-4 lol) and some major brush-hogging! oh and a professional steam cleaing once all the trash and dirt and mousepoop is removed, (it would need to be professionally stem cleaned for health reasons, right now its dangerous to spend more than 15-20 mins in there without a mask due to the dust and poop.

oh well, mums fixing an early lunch, then were hading back towards savannah, going to stop at the co-op, need goat feed if nothign else (got a couple days of rabbit and duck fod left but enough goat food for tonight, and they get MEAN when there hungry and itll be monday before i can pick it up if i dont go today) and at walmart for a hose pipe to make life easier.

i now also have shelves in my laundryroom so its now officially also a pantry (moved some cans in there today) need to get some kind of mouse resistant container for the likes of beans/cerials ect (im thinking food grade buckets with mylar liners for the beans and oatmeal, flour ect...but got to get hold of them. no real rush though, but its nice to have that additional storage space available for things given the lack of cabinatry.

dad still wants to put in the vent in the bathroom, swap the ceiling fans around and move the cooker/fridge for me (says it should eb a super easy job given the way the power runs under the house :)) hoping i can get my new floor put in soon too and the kitchen wil look fantastic :D, (even dad said it would lay out MUCH better by moving the cooker/fridge around.)
so those are jobs over the next week or so...today is houses and they want to go see the dance tonight...
tomorrow is the flea market in the morning...when we get home from there hell probably try and get at least one of thejobs done and then we might be heading into jackson for dinner as its the goldwing riders meet up and hed like to go say hey and meet the local chapter here.
sunday is horseback riding in the morning and probably another job in the afternoon...
and monday will probably be moving the apliances/rewiring day.
im ok on groceries untill they leave so no worries there as long as we can go pick feed up my "routein" isnt going to be too frantically thrown off.

its goingby very quickly though.

well today was a good day, took a peek at some houses "in town" mum loved one but mostly becaus eit had an inground pool...howveer its definatly been decided they would prefer to trade of the in town locaiton for land.
right now the "history" house on the hill is off the block, it would take way too muhc money to get it move in ready...
the finger house on 1 acre isnt enough land and if there going to be so rural they want the land to go with it...
so the 26 acre house is currently the top contender...
The agent is going to try and arrange a second vewing before they leave and get the key for the main gate back to the pasture/barn so we can check it out back there...
theres also a house in selmer theyd like to take a look at and one in henderson...and the angents going t try and pull a few more...
dad is aparently pretty sold on the idea of comming down here one way o another.

got home, gotsorted then headed off to the community dance for the evening and i think that just double sold him, he had a blast, we didnt dance, just watched the dancing and enjoyed the house band (whos great) but thats it...hes ready for his cowboy boots and hat! mum is loving how chatty/friendly folks are and feels shell make frineds quickly which is comforting to her (shes lonely in CT right now as sheha no friends...everyones just too busy with all the stuff theyve got to do to be able to afford to live... but there both enjoying the completly different pace and attitude. the agent also thinks given mum works in elderly home care shed have NO probelms finding jobs in the selmer/savannah area.

anywho, yeah they loved the dance, i like it in there too, if nothing lse i enjoy listening to the band...though makes me want to get back into singing semi professionally
then we came home, had a late supper and in about 10 minutes its bed time. im exhausted.

tomorrow is a semi early morning, were heading to first mondays in Miss tomorrow morning...that should be fun :)
so yeah still alive, just checking in :)

mum and dad loved ripley market, picked upa little hole drill for me so i can cut the holes for the birdhouse gourds, he picked up a little skinning knife and tried his hand at bartering and enjoyed it lol, and i got him hooked on boiled peanuts (cajun style), i saw an adult holland doe i liked but she wasnt willing to budge on the price so i passed...imin no rush right now.
he wants go go back to the crump market tomorrow...i think hes a flea market junky! so the plan for tomorrow is now to go to crump in the morning then head to the state park and go for a trail ride in the afternoon and a grill out sunday evening :)
monday is "odd job day" as its tuesday morning, tuesday afternoon is hang out with cindi for a while, wednesday will be finnihsing the obs day and then thursday well probbaly go look at a couple more houses and mabe spend the afternoon at the dam to finnish out their time here. they and are planning on leaving in the wee hours of friday morning so they can be home by saturday evening and have sunday to just chill out before back to work for him on monday and back to nromal for me over the weekend.

It's the kids! The neighbor kid asked this afternoon if Dozer would be here for the cookout  If he does come, you have to let me know ahead of time so I can let her know she can come for a visit to see "her sweet puppy."

I got to see my other dog today. :love There is a guy that comes to the flea market in Crump that has a handicap assistant Pitty(guy is paraplegic)that is just a doll baby! He gives me hugs, and I have been threatening to take that dog for years. He's 6 years old, and a mush pot. LOVE him! So, Pinky, yours isn't the only one :p I do adore my Dozer...just don't tell him I'm cheating on him ;)

We had a huge roast for dinner. 4 pounds of meat is just too much for us though, we'll eat for days off that thing! I added carrots from the garden, and home canned taters. It was pretty good :) I hope you all had a lovely dinner Gemma!

You'll have to give me some ideas on what all ya'll would like to eat. Heavy meal? Lite meal? I have charcoal, grill, and two ginormous steaks, plenty of veggies, and homemade bread. I actually have SEVERAL meats I can grill, and those steaks...ONE feeds us three, with leftovers! They're more the size of a roast. You can bring some meat if you'd like though. Or we could do a fish fry, I have plenty of fish too, I believe, and can easily make hushpuppies and fries to go with. Just let me know, we're pretty agreeable folks :) This is more for the guests ;) If you want something other than tea, milk, grape juice, kool-aid, or fake Mt. Dew you could bring a few drinks. I haven't figured out dessert yet, but I will have that covered as well, likely a variety of desserts, cause I gots a sweet tooth lately ;)

Did the folks ever get to try catfish?

Time is not an issue either, really. we could do lunch or dinner. Heck, we could do breakfast if ya want :p
