Totally left without the pallet in the truck this morning :/ I've been stupid all day, getting on my own nerves forgetting things and not tying up loose ends due to forgetting things. I am beat! We made it to Jackson, and Sam's is a daunting place to walk into over there.....then I spent too much time and money in there to top it all off  I'll try to get out there another day this week, planning on it one day with the weed whacker anyway, so I will bring the pallets then instead. We're getting storms tonight...under Severe T-storm warnings until 9.

Rowan is sick, like Biscuit was...we put her on antibiotics today. Have NO idea what's causing this. Any ideas? I've never had any of mine get ill, until the last few weeks. :hu

thats realy odd, shes been healthy as a dang horse...
what brand food are you feeding and are you feeding any plants/grass clippings?
mabe some kind of run off on the grass, but that would more than likely effect all the buns not just the odd one here and there.
possibly worms? might be worth a dose of ivermectin orally and a little in each ear in case of mites...
Any sneezing or runny eyes?

i definatly think antibiotics are a good way to go, but the only thing other than age/cancer i can think of for sudden weight loss would be worms.
give her belly a good feel too, if she feels "full/lumpy" might be worth a couple days of mineral oil therapy (about .2cc each morning) to make shes shes not got a blockage (ive been told the heats been slowing digestion on some friends rabbits so shes told me to watch for blockages...

realy frustrating, im sorry hun.

No prob on the pallets/weed acker...when you get a moment all is great lol, i know your a busy busy bumble bee!

today i managed to get a little more of a path cut...my wild blackberries are trying to fruit but i think years of neglect have them suffering...least the ones i have easy acess too lol, the berries are TINY...sweet, but tiny.

inside the little green area is where i want the temporary goat pen...

this is the path i managed to cut in the other day

then today i managed to cut the path in the clear area along the upper left green line but when you get to the bottom left green line it looks like

and

i think im going to have to hand cut through there with my little loppers because i dont own (and probably woudlnt trust myself) with a chainsaw...

sooo much work.

How far is that from the back of the house? I have about 300 feet of good heavy duty extension cord, and a Sawsall :D That's how we cleared ours, a little at a time.

I thought about worms too on the bunnies. They have been eating grass clippings exclusively. I have been meaning to get some pellets since she is pregnant, but keep FORGETTING to pick any up :he All I have here is Wazine. Could I use that? I know the dosage would probably be miniscule for a bunny. Otherwise it'll have to wait till tomorrow. UGH...hope she doesn't lose the babies, but it's not looking good. This JUST started when Biscuit started going down :barnie If I'd thought it was anything other than age...... *sigh*

i should think you could use it, just use a tiny amount...
it could also be a change in diet for her, shes used to greens but not exclusivly, hows her poop been?

in terms of distance id think 300 ft shoudl cover it...and ive got another 100ft we could extend with if nessicary...hmm, that might work lol.

i realy need to get about 650ft of rope and some small posts to makrk the corners out so i know exactly where were going...just trying to give them as much room (and brush) as possible so i can cut back on the pellet feed and so they have room to move and graze and brows.

Speaking of, i should go feed them lol.

Okay, I'll give it a try, can't really hurt her I don't guess. Her poop has been fine, all of them have been fine.

I can drop off the Sawsall and help with it for a few hours one day when I bring the pallet. Still unsure on the day as of yet. I'll bring DD and the neighbor kid to help.

Cindi, don't know that the sawall w/work that well 300 ft away from main power. I know w/my electric chainsaw, it recommends not using more than 100 ft of extension cord. Hubby says it can burn it up. If you still have your manual, check in there and see what it says. If not, see if you can google it.

If you're not wanting a big chainsaw, do you think one of the 8" battery operated chainsaws would work?

I know what they say Deb. We used it for ours. It's old. If it craps out at least it'll die happy  We more than got our use out of it! We have been cautious and used heavier than necessary cords with it, and it has done fine. So no worries if it burns it up helping a friend :hu

Oh we could use the rechargeable skil saw too for some of the smaller stuff. We have an electric chain saw, but it brokeded :/ Too bad dynamite isn't readily available anymore, THAT could be fun clearing it then
