Congrat's on that shed finally coming down! :celebrate

It must have been an "openess" kinda day as doc got the 2 trees out of the orchard area and it really opened the area up. We were really suprised, since the dead snag and small live trees were close to the chicken coop...I definately didn't expect it to make that much difference!

hes cute to boot and my age...shame im wearing my scruffs and look like ive been dragged through a bush backwards LOL!.
Just wanted to warn ya because doc saw me at my worst, first, and we've been together almost 20 years! :gig

The thing that impressed hubby when we met was NOT how I looked but that I had a fishing rod and tackle box, a baseball glove, bat and softball, and a bow and arrow all behind the seat of my truck. We've been married for 30 years.

well "my" handy man is back with his ex girlfrined/roommate to pick up the stuff his ex is scary lookin lol (she just looks MEAN, we were talking about it yesterday and hs trying to get together enough money to get the heck out...but untill then they have to remain civil to one another lol)
so there doing their clean up right now.

i whent out with E this morninginto jackson, picked up bird and dog food, mille for the linnie babies who are now realy starting to explore (and are beingmoved out of the brooder and into a cage later today)
we stopped at goodwill and i picked up 2 pairs of jeans, 1 shirt, 1 top and a sweater for under $6...
wednesdays and sundays at this goodwill are 99cent days...anything with this weeks ticket color while usually 50% off is 99 cents a peice on weds and sun...and now the cooler weather is comming in i need to start stocking up a winter closet again...most of last winters stuff no longer fits me...
im officially in an 8-10 in jeans depending on cut/stretch...not bad from a size 26. and medium tops, not bad from 2xl...id be a small but my boobies wont fit lol.
im not blessed with "perk" lol.

the on the way home stopped at the co-op, picked up 1 bag goat, 1 bag rabbit and 1 bag chicken...they eat better than i do lol.
after i get all my other projects done this month if i have enough left over id like to get at least another bag of each and more if i can...start stocking up some for winter.

Cindi did you have a chance to check on that shed for me...
hoping to get at least 1 sorted by the end of this week for the goats...but woudl definatly REALY like 2 lol...woud be nice to have the additional storage :p.

and now im home...
dishes are done (except lunch dishes) and ive currently got the sinks fullof 1part bleach solution...im having such a fly issue (both house and fruit) the house flys arnt as bad now the temps have cooled down some, but now the fruties are bad and there worse around the sink...so im soaking the sinks then will open the drains and let it flush through.... cause i cant stand having maggot eveyrhwere...maes me feel dirty...i keep things clean, not sterile but i dont leave dishes sitting for more than a few hours (untill i have a full sink) i scrubthe sinks, i have towash out the trashcan almost daily to keep things under control so now ive even stopped using that and insted i use a plastic bag which gets tied and tossed out at the end of each day...so frustrating.

but yeah...letting lunch go down, then back to cleaning, my floor is discusting after the dogs and the rain we had...

I was always taught to be VERY skimpy with bleach, if you have a septic system. It kills the good bacteria and can cause issues. :hu Don't take my word for it, as it could just be an old wives tale that got stuck in my noggin

Cute guy, still living with mean looking ex...who now knows right where you live. Hmmm...guess that rules him out :p

lol :p
and he LOVES dogs! loves the guineas ect...my kinda guy :)
who knows...

in terms of bleach not so much of a worry, my sink doesnt actually go to my septic tank...i have agrey water line and it dumps out onto the back field, (along with my bathroom sin and shower...im not entirely sure its legal but it passed inspection LOL
it was how i knew when the system got backed up that it hadnt been tended in years because 1 single woman using 1 toilet...lol

even so i try to go light on the bleach because itdums out onto the ground, but these little fruit flys are driving me nuts and the little traps and home mae stuff is just not working and i had tiny maggots in my sink (and i only did dishes on tuesday morning...) its yucky!

as a side note, took the dogs out to pee, andused my little hole saw blade for my drill...yeah, gourds are suprisingly difficult to cut LOL. got 4 done and empties out, im saving seeds as i go so il have plenty to plant in the spring...
but yeah, gonna take a while to get them all cut...then ill have to take the dremmel to the holes to smooth out any bits where the perfeclty round saw peice whent somehow wonky...once thats done they can all get painted up and hopefully ill be able to do a stall end of october/beginning of november and make some christmas money :)
ive got some wooden bird houses to paint up too and some little buckets.
i think im going to have to buy a gallon of paint and dip the gourds though for the base coat id need about $50 in spraypaint otherwise LOL!

anywho...
time to do more cleaning.
