Deb, you'd love it down here! We have tons of places to ride, and you can ride down our road here without much concern over traffic.

that i can agree with...
its very pretty!

in good news i have a guy comming from just down the road tomorrow (supposedly) to pull down that old ugly shed for me. he just wants a little cash for gas.
this takes cindi off the hook for demo time (no worries though i have MORE than enough projects for when she and the roomate are bored :p) especially since very soon im going to need at least 1 of those metal arrow sheds built lol.

and means i cna get that area cleaned up.
im hoping to salvage enough wood for making mroe veggie beds for the spring so i can get that area worked on too, AND can work on the rabbit colony idea.
going to need to invest in some serious dutygloves and some contractor strength trashbags to clean up that the mess once the sheds are gone

and yeah...woot.

thats good news cause i was dreading putting these things together..fromwhat ive seen getting the wals up isnt too difficult, but puttin the roof on can get a little tricksy...
and assuming i can afford it..there will be 2 to put up LOL, one down in the goat pen as a new goat house and the other up at the top neer the driveway as a storage building for the hay and feed...now its getting cooler, the mice are getting bolder and i just know by the end of winter id have them living in the hay bales and stealing food right under the cats noses LOL!. (plus id rather not be storing this stuff on my patio lol.

plenty of wooden ones and suc but too expensive and of course...getting them home costs even more...

I know where one is, that's not being used. Let me call about it and see if we can work something out on it before you buy new.

oh coolness...
im ideally looking for 1 for the goats would love a 10x12 if i can get one, but a 10x8 woudl work...
new the 10x8 is $279, and the 10x12 is $348

then id love to get my mits on one just for storage, a 10x8 would work no problem for that one though :)
i wouldnt turn down another larger one obviously, i dont think you can ever have too much storage space lol.

in other news the effort to minimize money output is underway.
waiting to hear back from a new cellphone company on what they can do for me...
and my direct tv will officially go off october 14th (so it doesnt enter into a new billing cycle) the early termination fee SUCKS (almost $250, however when you take into account my new bill after taxes would be almost $100 for the BASIC package...and once they send me the early termination fee bill im going to call and arrange a payment plan instead...)
so yeah...im getting there...need to make up the difference once i need to start running the heat lol.

im hoping to put any extra right now into feed for the winter, i just want to make sure ive got a few extra bag in to cover the bases, and ive got some hay bales comming asap to stock up too...im going to see if i can get more once i get storage built before the winter comes in too...
and i want to stock up on a few extra bales of hay for bedding over the winter too while its "cheap"

if i can stock up now some for the winter ill feel a little more comfortable..even if the winter is mild, itll be nice to know im ready for it.

well hello october and hello RAIN...
rained all yesterday afternoon, overnight, rain showers all today and overnight and a 50% chance of rain tomorrow...its a muddy mess out there right now.
obviously the shed wont be going anywhere in the net few days as now the orund will need to dry out some before he can try pulling ith a truck...at this stage it would just turn into a mud pit if he tried. so we'll reschedual that for next week lol.

today is dozers birthday according to the prson i got him from...so HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG LUMP OF A DOG!
we are having a little bit of a birthday "party" tonight, i made pupcakes theres enough for jack jack, the puppies ruby and jaspe to have a little bit and dozer of course gets a while one
hard to belive as of November we'll have been together for a year...

todays goingto be another "quiet" day. i do need some basic groceries but i hate driving in the rain...so im going to walk across to the store a little later for milk, also have to stop in the post office and send out a letter. but otherwise...

i do have some ishes to do later, and the linnie babies are ready for a cage rather than a brooder so im going to get that set up for them too, they are starting to explore and play
