i know right...lol
im probably going to yoink the leftovers for dinner tonight mums making chilli and im not too big on chilli...so i claim the korma!

in other news...found out what my concrete block box is...

looks like it is...or at least potentilaly is the well for the house...and the item thats missing...looks to be the well pump...YAY *rolls eyes*
this sent me into a panicked tizzy...
so ALOT of phone calls later im assured by the asset manager in charge of the house...since ts not on the PCR as a problem, and the property is insured with a $0 repair excrow either hud screwed up or someone stole it after the assesment...
and because its NOT listed as a porblem on the PCR, if my bid is accepted HUD will pay most (if not ALL) the cost to fix the problem...
and if they refuse, i can pull out of the contract without loosing my earnest money

so things are still on...YAY!

i swear so far this process has taught me that not breathing causes migranes...the govt also causes migranes...oh and money...that too causes migranes LOL

i was worried because the information i was being given was that even if the well was dry i would have to continue on the purchase because the property is "as is" which means no contingencies...
but aparently this is NOT the case...
i can back out at any point but will loose my earnest money unless theres found to be a problem with HUDS reports, or a health hazard that was not reported on...
septic and well are both considered "breakers" if there broken, it means i can back out of the deal scott free aparently...

so yeah.

can we say....stress...i just KNOW this is "the house"
but getting it is going to drive me to the assylum

well today is going to be a tough day...
leo and mouse both go home this afternoon.

part of me is ready lol, they are tearing round my room like crazy, dirving all over the place, making the tyical messes kittens make ect...

but the other part of me always has a hard time wth "graduation day"

ill still have my litle peanut running around here causing mischeif, but 1 is much easier to handle than 3, and im sure momma is ready for the break lol, shes been an excelent mommy. even afte her spay when the vet was certain shed be tender and not herself she was with those babies, playing, teaching them to pounce and chase and bopping thme on the head if they got too rowdy lol.

ruby will miss them more than tempi i think lol, they curl up wiht her on the couch and play pounce on rubies tail, if i tell her to find the babies she runs around looking for them...

so i do have some chores to do this morning, like cleaning out jacks cage and a quick run around of the vacume again...( i will not miss litter EVERYWHERE after they leave lol) and take my trash out.
then at some point today im going to take dad to the garden center for yet a few more bags of mulch (the 2 newly mulched beds look soo nice that the others look like they were never done lol) and a few more plants...
ive got 2 more beds to finnish out this year (and assuming everything survivies mum and dad shoudlnt have to do anymore planting in the flower beds unless they want to after i move out...just weed and remulch each year.

side note:
for the veggie growers...

out little veggie patch is doing VERY well...except for a few things...

the carrot seeds...for the life of me i cant seem to be able to get more than a couple ot sprout...should i try reseeding my carrot spots or since everything else is growing well should i just put something else in those spots as the carrots dont seem to like it there?
and our cucumber plants...again everything else is doing well in there, the peas and beans are in that bed and doing fine, but only 2 of the cucumber plants of the 4 seem to be alive and they dont seem to be thriving.

the good news is everythng else s growing like crazy which makes me very happy, the onioions seem to be the happiest and the lettuce lol

this is my first attempt at real veggie gardening, weve done pots on the deck and patio in prevous years and ive never been happy with thier production, probbaly because they dry out too quickly...our deck gets too hot and bright even for tomatoes sometimes :(

any tips for carrots and cucumbers...

oh and basil, the basil doesnt look very happy either (the cilantro, parsley and rosemary are all thriving though.)

the cucumbers and basil have similar symptoms the leaves are wilted and white, the newer leaves at the top look fine and healthy, but most of the lower leaves look like theyve been bleached.

Carrots take a long time to sprout. Two weeks maybe?
X2!!!

DON'T TOUCH! They'll come up! Mine took almost 4 weeks to thicken throughout the bed I have them in. They came up a couple at a time and took FOREVER!! I had almost given up on them and then they poked their little heads up a few at a time :th I almost planted more greens in that spot a couple of times, but tried to be patient, and have been rewarded for it ;)

lol, ill take your word for it and be patient then...lol, especialy since i do see a couple of seedings that look like carrot babies...mabe the others are just slow lol...

in other news, today i found out that id paid my credit card out of my parents account...i dont know how...but i did....

so mum said instead of giving them cash i could go and buy the rest of the plants needed to finnish off the flower beds...
they paid for another 4 bags of mulch (on sale at lowes 4 for $10) and i paid $80 in plants, and they had a sale 4 for $10 on the 1 quarts which are usually closer to $4 each
then $20 on anuals for the pots on the deck by the front door.

were even and i got to buy plants both of which made me happy, i already accounted for the money not being in my account and coudnt figure out why my account was $100 more than it should be...yup blonde moment!

anywho, spend the afternoon planting and muching, ive still got alot of mulching to do, but am realy happy with how the beds are looking now.

in bad news however, much and dirt in an open wound/burn doesnt fee too plesant LOL.

oh and mouse and leo both whent home today, their new mommies are very excited about having them home, leo whent to a home with another cat and a little girl who seems to be extreemy good with animals, hes settled in already running round with his kitty buddy, playing with the litte girl and being spoilt.
mouse has gone to live with a 1yr old dog, who is aparently already in love and mouse is happy to torment the fluffy dog lol.

so all in all its all worked out.
willow is staying, at least for now...
if the house falls through ill have to rehome her as i cant have another pet here at my parents house, but if i get the house she will be the newest addition.
