oh yeah it was GROSS! lol
but very exciting, i was worried if it got any bigger her head would explode...or worse that it was cancer (and in a bun that young that would not be a good sign for momma or siblings either)
least now its gone, keep it clean for a few days and it hould heal quickly.

on an unrelated note, i somehow managed to get dragged into the midst of a doggy custody battle
friends A were fostering dog, and whent on vacation leaving dog in care of friends B...
friends B imediatly fell inlove with dog (and to be honest the positive changes in this dog in just a week are pretty maazing) and want to adopt dog...
rescue has decided to lt fiends B take over fostering of dog untill shes healthy enough to be officially adopted (shes HW+)
Friends A are Not going to be too happy as wife of friends A was talking about adopting her (though hubby isnt ready for dog yet)
rescue asks me for opinion not as frineds of either but as someone wo knows both and has been invovled in dogs her entire life and they know would tell BOTH sets of frineds to go screw themselves if i didnt think it was right for the dog lol)
now rescue gets to tel frineds A there not picking her up from frineds B tomorrow...
and in the mean time i just know im goign to get the "did you know about htis why didnt you warn us" issues...

*GAH!*

this is one of th reasons i got out of recuing dogs through proessional organiations, TOO MUCH DRAMA!

in other news i feel liek ive been sandblasted...first sunburn of the season...and OWIES lol. its not painfull as mucha s uncomfortable, and i burn on a cloudy day so right now i feel like im tightly wraped in saran wrap on my face and arms lol i did put my usual "hey its still only spring" sunscreen on..spf 30...yeah...might already be time to break out the spf65...

i simply told them EXAcTLY what id seen and thought. the dog was not progressing as quickly in frined A's care as she has in Frineds B's care....so to me the choice was obvious...

yeha on the spf, that sun was alot stronger toay than i thought it wa going to be..i blame that beautiful breeze!

well im still in pain from this sunburn...

heres the deal...
i burn...
it comes with the territoty i mean im british, im pale, im a natrual redhea and i have freckles...i only realy know 2 colors and thats very white...or red...
so im used to a good ole sunburn...
USUALLY i burn...i burn pretty bright but i dont usually suffer, generaly burn, LOOK incredibly painfull but realy am fine then i peel and then im white again...pretty simple.

on saturday i was out from 9am untill 2:30 pm with spf 30 on...i burnt...i burnt something kinda wicked, my forearms, neck chest and face...
i got home, aloed up, rehydrated but new form the chills and ehadache id gotten myself a little cae of overexposure...however no big deal continur to rehydrate and within 24 our ill be starting to peel...

well sunday, i hurt, my arms are fine but my wrist (particularly the right) is TENDER...but more so my face hurt...the temples, cheek bones and chin mostly...
to be honest i dont LOOK any more burnt than i have in the past, if anything, less so...but the last time i had a painfull sunburn i fell asleep in the sun with NO sunscreen on on the beach in spain...this was no beach in spain...
today im feeling a little less of the heat exhaustin still tired and stil rtrying to fully rehydrate, but not neer as yuck as yesterday but lordy OWWW.
my nose, the cheek bones directly under my eyes, my temples, chin and wrsts mostly....
so today i called at the dr on the way home to eb sure theres not somehting else going on...and im tol "oh yeah the new mood stabaliers tend to make people sun sensitive..."

you knwo cause telling the eXTREEMLY white girl shes going to burn EASIER wouldnt have been a good idea BEFORE hand.

sotoday i picked up a new bottle of spf 65, and will be on an every hour in the sun, and avoid peek sushine times regime...because OWWWW

its kinda weird cause i finally know why people looked at me and winced in the pat at some of my sunburns...i never understood untill now that sunburns are actually supposed to HURT!

in good news, with the bunny sales this weekend and some cash from the bank of daddy i managed toget trabbit cge bank 2 up on its stands, oors done and ovred today...
i also managed to gt a new chain for my pendant (i snappe the chain and couldnt wear it for 2 weeks...i havent taken it off since i got it about 10 yrs ago so its nice to feel whole again lol)
plus a bottle of spf 65 AND with the change that was left i got dozer a new ball...its one of those giANt kids ones...
hes not quite ure what the heck to do with it though and is a lttle afraid of it...but i think once he realizs he can dive at and on itand beat the snot out of it hell LovE it...its too big for ven him to get his teeth into easily right now so it chouls last him a couepl months at least lol.

tomorrow ill move 3 bunnies intot he new cage bank but otherwise i thinking LAZY day.

Sorry about your burn. That really stinks.

Maybe if you stick a pin in the side of that goat, she'll pop em out. :hu

thats what got me ive listered before and even those wernt as bad as this has been. today im peeling and look very...well DRY and flaky but hoping this means the worst of THAT is ver with.

todays plan, unload 400lbs of dirt from the trunk of my car dump it in veggie bed #2 and start plannign that bed out.
bed #1 is beans and greens, thining bed #2 will be tomatoes carrots, peas and mre greens (ill admit the greens are going to be primarily for the rabbit so i dont mind if they dont get huge before turnging a little bitter (the rabbits doent care if they bolt)

then bed #3 will be peppers and probaly okra (my first attempt) and more greens...and bed 4 wil be squash/mellons ill probably do some straw bale squash and mellons too..

this years going to be late and kinda cobbled together, but il pla better for next year and hopefully will have better luck with the greenhouse.
