That's a shame, Pink.... :hugs

I lost a bunch more chicks to my murderess dog yesterday and I blame myself too. I shoulda just took the chicken tractor outta the backyard - but it was so convenient there.

Hope that the chilled ones make it!

lol. desnt matter anyway, its about $50K more than they are allowed to spend and if realtor.com is right its under contract...
but when i finally build MY house...thats the kind of house ve been envisioning, not quite that grand/overall large, but ive alwas wante a house with a passive solare design atrium and LOVE the "old world" style of the wood panneling and even the old style flooring lol. it just looks like its got charcter lol

:)
it is under contract though so...shame, its uber cool! lol

well toda took some bun up to the local swap...and came home 4 baby bunnie lighter :)
got anothe rboy going in a few weeks, so now i just have nose and eyeball to figure out. eyeball i think will be ready to go n a week, just notsure if anyone will want a super sweet BLIND in one eye bunny.
nose, wel it realy will depend on what happens with the abcess on ehr noew, im pretty usre its the result of either a pper wasp or a fire ant sting...it looks like it wants to open up/release and its tender but otherwise not effecitng her.
both may end up heading to freezer camp though. as much as i want one eye to go as a pet, i cant keep a "pet" only bunny around her and i DONT need another buck (if he were a doe i might consider it lol)

but i am glad i sent 4 babbits home, (i took 4 babbits and haystack, haystack came home with me...not big deal...the babies wre my main focus.)

i managed to get me a pretty wiced sunbur to the lower arms face neck and chest...*DOH* it didnt feel THAT hot, infact i had my fleece on with the sleaves rolled up most of the day...but yeah, skin is tight and a little tender right now and im SLEEPY (too much sun + dehydration) im supping on fluids so the latter part will be fixed soon but itll be an early night for e i think.

overall though was a good morning.
got someone ele who wants a breedable pair of rex, which i SHOULD be able to put together out of strawberry/hazel community nest litter...
and someone else whos going to be emailing me in a couple weeks about lillies babies (she SHOULD have ppped by then lol) she wants a oe if i have one that im not keeping myelf, so THATS a good thing.

all my fruit bush sticks are showing life, and all but 1 o my tree sticks are showing leaves so YAY!, might actually get berries this year form them which is EXCITING....got lots of raspberries and blackberies. thinking of adding a couple blueberry bushes un theorchardunder the 2 big pines, they dont shade the area but the acidity form the needles is preventing grass from growing and i KNOW blueberries LOVE that acidity...so i might keep my eyes peeled for some. id realy lovesome "pink lemonade" ones (i mean come on PINK blueberries! lol)

if my berry bushes do well i may try rootig some cuttings to sell in the fall too.

ven the rugosa roses are doing well (despite the neighbor hacking one with the lawnmwer *grumbles* seeing green around her is helping the mood some :)

anywho...time to go start putting everyoe to bed, then figure out dinner, will probbly chill with a movie and try to get to be about 9:30 insteadof my usual closer to 10:30-11ish.

woot! as gross as this is, Nose's abcess popped this evening...iwhent to check oneyeball and do his meds and noticed a little weepy so i did his eye then grapped her up graped some paper towles and got that thing cleaned OUT! got all the puss out, its very deep and hollow but didntget into the nazal cavity, then flushed it out with saline (i actually eyes serile eye wash which is pretyt much just saline) then packed it full of antibiotic ointment. with a little luck she may be able to avoid freezer camp after all :D

an sitting out this afternoon/evening i was visited by my personal first ever close encounter with a hummingbird. a female ruby throated form what i can find, she came over once and buzed aroud then landed on the cord to my outdoor blind before flying away, then she came by about 20 ins later an dbuzed around some again then again about 30 mins later.
going to have to start putting out some hummingbird feeders!
